If I could give this facility 0 stars, I would. My grandmother had brain surgery before being sent here to recover. Instead of receiving the care she deserved, she experienced what our family believes was an unacceptable response to a medical emergency. She told staff that her hand was cramping, repeatedly asked for help, and specifically told them to call an ambulance because she knew something was wrong. According to my grandmother, staff stood there looking at her instead of responding immediately. Around 30 minutes passed before an ambulance was called. During that time, she suffered two seizures and a stroke. Those minutes mattered. She told us herself that she believes she could have died. This is a nursing facility. Recognizing and responding to medical emergencies should be the bare minimum. Families place their loved ones in your care because they expect trained professionals—not hesitation when every second counts. We trusted this facility with someone we love, and we deeply regret that decision. Our family will be pursuing this matter through the appropriate legal channels. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you’re considering bringing your loved one here, think twice. They deserve attentive, competent care—not delays during what could become a life-threatening emergency.

Staff was unskilled when it came to transferring me from the bed to my wheelchair, from the wheelchair to toilet, and transferring me back to my bed. Also, Dr. Cantrell did not answer any of my questions I was put on hold. My medications that were prescribed to me and were to be taken each day I did not receive those medications Dr. Cantrell knew but nothing was done about the medications I should have been taking for diabetes. I do not recommend this facility. It is old and it has a bug problem. A lot of things in a room is not clean daily like the bathroom and the rooms. The overall staff has a notion that their only task is 1. CNA not able to communicate using the English language, not qualified for care, and only there for a paycheck. 2. The nurse that is on duty to give medication ONLY should be a CNA. 3. The unit nurse especially the nurse on day shift should make sure every thing is checked and double checked especially when it comes to diapers change, correct medications are being given to the patient.
