I chose Westminster Bradenton for my mom's rehab after a brief hospital stay. There were many issues during her stay from her being given the wrong medication, not receiving her prescribed medications and the nurse arguing with her about it, them running out of food and food being shared amongst patients, the NP, Kim physically removing the oxygen from my mom's nose without permission, to her being discharged within 24hrs of being diagnosed with pneumonia and heart failure by the NP, Kim. As a medical professional this is unacceptable. My mom was discharged with close to 30lbs of fluid on her body. She could not walk! She was in rehab so that she could get stronger and walk. No one reported the physical change in her body, even though they were helping her shower and helping her get dressed daily. She was admitted into the hospital within 48hrs of discharge after being seen by three physicians. There's a huge difference in their rehab center and assisted living. I would not recommend rehab for anyone.

My husband and I have lived here for 9 years. We are happy to be part of the Westminster Bradenton Point Pleasant family! We enjoy all the activities available. Among other things there are planned exercise sessions for bodies and minds. Classroom learning experiences, fun and games with our friends, opportunity for furry friends to romp in our dog park, opportunity for our boating friends to enjoy kayaking. We enjoy dancing and singing together. A putting green, bocce ball and swimming pools are available. For those who just enjoy sitting quiet and enjoying the water front, there is always a…

We love so many things about living here at Westminster Point Pleasant in Bradenton. We feel secure in knowing we will always have a home here and that we have access to a continuum of care. Lots of fun activities, wellness activities, educational activities and volunteer opportunities on and off campus are offered by our lifestyles and wellness departments. The dining team offers great meals and upscale dining opportunities. Our apartment has a lovely water view. The area is quiet and walkable with a fall-to-spring Saturday farmers and craft market, marina, restaurants, public library, a Riverwalk with a water ferry to the Gulf beaches, all kinds of activities (fireworks, concerts, parades, theatre, spring training and minor league baseball), all within easy walking distance (or a tram ride from our transportation department!). Tampa and Sarasota cultural, sports and entertainment opportunities are within easy driving distance. The Sarasota/Bradenton airport is 15-20 minutes away. Life is good here at Point Pleasant!

I moved into the Courtyard at Westminster Point Pleasant, August 2022. I am so happy that I did, I love it here. I love the food, I can go to three different venues for lunch or dinner, I don't have to cook our clean up. If anything goes wrong in my apartment, I just fill out a work order and a maintenance man fixes the problem. We have a swimming pool and a fitness center, that can be used whenever you wish. There are so many activities that you can take part in such as book clubs, creative writing, art classes, putting green, bocce courts, Yoga, fitness classes and line dancing are just a few that are available. Most important, I have peace of mind that I will be taken care of as I age.

You may be asking yourself this question why should I move to Westminster. It is a place that help meets your needs. For those that are active there’s a lot of activities cards, games, poker bocce ball board games the list could go on and on. There’s also a chance to take short trips to museum's points of interest and different restaurants. You can be as active as you want to be when it comes time for the next step we have an assisted living, which will help with the needs that you need at this time and then when the time comes, we have the healthcare unit. For me This place is keeping me young at the same time as my body is getting older. The door is open and you are welcome. Hope to see you soon.

Westminster Bradenton has been a fabulous home for my wife and I since 2022. The facility offers many wellness related, and other, activities that encourage a fun, fulfilling, and meaningful life

As a resident here for over a year, Westminster has exceeded my expectations. The views of the water and sunsets from my apartment are beautiful. The other residents are friendly. There are many options for being involved in activities. Wonderful place!
