Trinity Regional Rehab Center

My Mom was a resident of Trinity Regional for four years. She was treated with dignity and kindness by the staff. The facility was clean and quite pleasant. The food was not terrible just typical institution food. I'm not sure we can expect better than that unless the facility has an executive chef. LOL Seriously, I would recommend this facility to any one who wants good care. Sadly, my Mom has passed away at 94, but I will always be grateful for the care she received at Trinity Regional.

My mother was at Trinity Regional Rehab Center. She was there on and off for six weeks this year until the 6th of January. It's eight years old, so it's fairly new compare to others. I've found that the room was filthy and the care was very poor. We've had repeatedly bad experiences there. They would leave my mother to be dead. She had COVID, nobody paid attention. She had double pneumonia after COVID, nobody paid attention. She had UTI too. When she said that she had to go to the bathroom, they said "Oh, just use your diaper." She's waited an hour for somebody to come and help her go to the bathroom. As far as I'm concerned, the state of her health is their fault. The facilities were dirty. I think they're terribly understaffed. Their receptionist has multiple tasks and the phones aren't answered a lot of the time. The nurses, if you ask them to call you back, it's just a hit or miss if you can find somebody.

Me 85 yr old dad has been here for 10 days for shoulder rehab. Due to covid all therapy is done in the room even though they could take two patients at a time to the therapy room. I was told it was too much trouble. The reason for two stars is lack of communication. Nearly impossible getting connected to anyone whether receptionist, nurse, manager or case worker. Even more impossible getting anyone to call back. Fed up with this place. One receptionist nearly hung up on me because I had to keep calling trying to get ahold of anyone in charge. Very rude at times. You cant leave a message as you are disconnected in the long waiting time. Life Care center far better experiences for us. Would not go here nor send any family here again. Oh and once I drove 30 minutes to drop off some things for my dad and nobody ever came to open the door or responded in any way. One other complaint...after setting up an orthopedic doc appt with the nurse there, they failed to put it in their appt book and he missed the appointment. They are not 5 star by any stretch. I'm giving them a 2..and that is a stretch.

My wife and I have been through several rehabs, and we know what we are talking about when we say that they have the finest rehab in the area. They have the best people there. I would even recommend them to the friends I don't like. I was shocked about how nice the people were there.
