⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Moving my 94-year-old Dad and 91-year-old Mom into the beautiful new Meridian Punta Gorda was an emotional decision, but the entire team made it a wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by smiling, caring staff at the front desk and happy residents all saying hello. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Moving my 94-year-old Dad and 91-year-old Mom into the beautiful new Meridian Punta Gorda was an emotional decision, but the entire team made it a wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by smiling, caring staff at the front desk and happy residents all saying hello. After settling into their new freshly made apartment, my parents quickly realized this wasn’t something to fear—it felt like “another cruise” where everything is taken care of. Their beds are made daily, they enjoy delicious meals all day long, and there are fun activities and social events every day thanks to Jess and Anna. Carolyn, who was the real reason why we chose Meridian, guided us through every step of the process from Intro-Tour to Move-In Day with kindness, compassion, and patience, making the transition incredibly smooth. Beth, the Facilities Director, and Brian, the Executive Director, went above and beyond to prepare their apartment early and ensure every detail was handled with care.and we are especially thankful to have Waylon help hang all the pictures and TV ! First class ! Now I can take a deep breath and know they are in good hands with RN Josie and RN Ray just down the hall providing care coordinating their medical needs. . During what could have been a stressful and scary time for our family, the team at Meridian turned it into a true blessing. We are so grateful for the love, professionalism, and genuine care they have shown our parents. I highly recommend Meridian Punta Gorda to any family looking for a warm, welcoming community for their loved ones. . Thank you for all you have done for our entire family.! ❤️❤️
The staff is very friendly and caring. The facility is top-notch with highly skilled and professional people. We feel very confident my mother is getting the best personal care possible

What a wonderful place with amazing staff! My father was skeptical about moving into assisted living as he enjoyed his freedom and external social activities but Meridian was a perfect fit. He had the freedom to come and go, had a beautiful apartment there and plenty of social activities. The place is new and really well cared for with a team of great humans that truly care and set a high standard for professionalism. One additional standout item is the food, it is exceptional! My father had lost a lot of weight before coming to the Meridian as he just didn’t want to take the effort to shop, cook and cleanup. This also impacted his strength. The food quality was the thing he highlighted right away when he moved in and he immediately began gaining back weight and getting stronger. When we visited him they would always let us join for lunch or dinner and I would look forward to it because it was so good! I doubt anyone would have ever thought. My Dad would even invite his friends over at times and they loved it as well. Anyone looking for a premium level assisted living or care facility should look into the Meridian and would highly recommend it.
We visited today, a friend of ours that lives at the Meridian. Everyone was so nice and she treated us to lunch in the dining room. Probably the best Reuben we’ve ever had.
I love the new, clean beautiful community! It’s not just about looks though. The people here are so kind and willing to help. For example, I have a bad back, so need help with certain things like making my bed. I go to breakfast and when I come back my bed is made. On laundry days, I go participate in an activity and when I come back my laundry is done. It is fabulous! Some of my friends like to do their own laundry and are able to do that in the laundry room provided. There’s even soap in the dispensers for that! I love being able to participate in various activities like special outings, bingo, arts and crafts, educational presentations, parties, Bible studies, etc. Our latest outing was to see the murals in downtown Punta Gorda. What a treat! The dining room is the central activity hub. Everyone enjoys the delicious meals and more Often than not, stay way past meal time just to socialize. The best thing is we don’t have to prepare it or clean it up afterwards! Nursing staff is here 24 hours a day to help with anything we need. I have been at this community for eight months and am absolutely thrilled to be here! I have made many new friends and never thought I would enjoy retirement so much!

We were visiting with a neighbor from our street in PGI, and it was so warm and welcoming to catch up and enjoy breakfast together. WOW, excellent service, our server, I’m sorry I can’t recall her name, was awesome! The food was excellent and the meridian is so clean and feels like a great hotel 👍.
