I recently visited Sunrise Retirement Home and was genuinely impressed. The first thing that caught my eye was how clean and well-maintained everything was. It’s clear there’s real attention to detail, which makes a big difference in a place where your mom will be cared for. What truly made the visit special, though, was the staff. Everyone I met was warm and friendly. They took the time to genuinely engage with residents and visitors, not in a forced way. I can feel the difference. There’s also a very welcoming atmosphere throughout the community. It doesn’t feel institutional at all.…

Everyone I met was warm and friendly. They took the time to genuinely engage with residents and visitors, not in a forced way. I can feel the difference. There’s also a very welcoming atmosphere throughout the community. It doesn’t feel institutional at all. Instead, it feels comfortable. You get the sense that residents are cared for not just physically, but emotionally as well.
The level of care is wonderful at Sunrise..there is a family feel that goes a very long way in my husband’s care. I feel well cared for as well when I visit. The Staff is very approachable.

You can be sure that Sunrise of Jacksonville cares about its residents, and will provide a safe haven for them. They did an excellent job of caring for my mother. They were very attentive, professional and kind to my mom during her years there in 2020, 2021 and 2022. I highly recommend them.

Having only toured Sunrise & spoken to staff and a couple of random residents, this seems to be the best kept secret in Jacksonville for assisted living opportunity. Will try to get Mom in ASAP!
Everything seems to be going smoothly. Mom says the food is good. She is well taken care of had her hair cut by the in house salon. Happy overall. It is a bit pricey.
It is very expensive when care levels increase and med management but the peace of mind is awesome. The family feel is amazing and the staff are all very approachable and I know they care deeply. The accommodation is wonderful..very bright and comfortable. The homemade food keeps my husband very satisfied. I feel like I am visiting a big family every time I am there. So in the end I am getting what I pay for. I am no longer on edge when I am not with my husband.
