The facility itself is nice and has a lot of potential, which is why it is disappointing to see opportunities for improvement going to waste. More meaningful and engaging activities should be offered to better capture residents’ attention, rather than relying on simple, repetitive programming. At times, memory care and assisted living feel too similar, creating more of a nursing home atmosphere than a place residents can truly call home and enjoy living in. There seems to be little for residents to look forward to day to day, and many residents appear disengaged or unhappy. With a stronger focus on enrichment, creativity, and resident-centered programming, this could be a much more vibrant and welcoming community. Improvements are needed not because the facility lacks promise, but because it has real potential that is not being fully realized.

Its very hard to leave my mother in a facility, but all their support has made this transition better. My sister and I have comfort knowing she is being cared for and even loved. The food is great. Meds are given on time. When I visit the head nurse and mobile medical will come find me and update me. My sister and I visit often and they know we are very involved. We help out when we are there. (Showering mom, and ECT). Their job is very hard and we appreciate them all. Jenn, Avri, JoJo, lester, Chris, Tanisha, Velma, crystal, Catherine, Andrea PT. Kim ( sends me updates when she gives mom OT, love this), Front desk CNA/receptionist. I have many more I wish to call out, but I'm terrible at remembering names. They have crafts and events for the residents. They have musicians or staff play piano. The environment is very pleasant.
This is an exceptionally nice place with staff and management focused on great care.

This facility is poorly run to say the least. The staff is inattentive and combative, the medications are delivered erratically, the front desk is almost never properly manned (it can take up to 20 minutes before someone answers the front door), and management is barely responsive. There is no exercise equipment and nothing for patients to do other than to wander around, which, it seems, is what the staff desires, zombies who sit in front of a television all day. The food is abysmal. It's more like a prison than a facility anyone would want to have looking after a loved one. We were able to find a better place after 6 months of putting up with this. Luckily we survived.
My mother has been here for over a month, and she is doing great. She tells me that the food is very good and everybody is really nice. The courtyard area is lovely, and there are screened in porches too. I’m very happy knowing she is being well cared for here. Lauren, the Sales Director, is wonderful to work with, and I’m so thankful to her and everyone who works at Rosecastle at Deerwood.
Its been a year that we have had mom at Rosecastle, and honestly they take good care of mom. Their entire staff is wonderful. I understand that this is a difficult decision to make because i have been there. Some key points to look for are communication with the staff and administration, general cleanliness, room and bathroom, and meals. They check all the boxes. They provide lots of activities throughout the year where both families of the staff and residents attend. I bring my kids there every time. If your looking for a place to bring a loved one Rosecastle is a wonderful place to send them to.
Lauren gave me a tour today for my Mom. She was so helpful and kind. She also communicates very well with you and gets back to you promptly. I think my Mom would like it there when the time comes.
Rosecastle is such a blessing for my family! I have such peace knowing my loved one is well cared for in such a nurturing, safe & clean environment. The staff truly makes it feel like home. Our tour with Lauren really left us knowing this was the right place, she is so knowledgeable answering all of our questions, making us truly feel like family. I wouldn’t consider any other place!
