Plantation Oaks Senior Living

The Rose Garden WAS a nice place for people to live. Once the owners decided to convert it to a 55+ community that is when it went down hill. Almost all of the residents were told they had to move into the Old Memory care or find a new place to live. If they moved into the Old Memory care some were moved into shared apartments with another resident. Some of us were told we would not have to worry and would be staying where we were by one of the owners only to receive letters stating that one of us would be moved to the Old Memoty Care while the other would be allowed to stay. This was contrary to what they said first of all and who would separate a couple who has been together for 42 years. This was crazy to think unless this was their plan to get us out all ways. Then I was told not to do anything and they would get back with me. No one ever did. Then there was the rain water that always came in the apartment in the livingroom and bedroom. Only fix I got and was told was this happens put down towls to soak up the water and it will dry. This went on for the year I was there. So many other small things that could go on and on. Hope all of the people that had to move found happier places to stay. LOOK around there are other places in Orlando that are willing to work with you. Not just to get your money.

I live at the view "The Rose Garden of Orlando" independent living is a nice place to live and very comfortable community the staff here is great and the food is tremendous!

The Rose Garden offers independence for individuals that need additional help with basic living skills. The physical property is welcoming. The front desk is helpful. Precious , in particular is always friendly and accommodating! As with most places the staff makes the difference. This place is no different. Some of the staff has been here a long time and unfortunately lack compassion. There are also several med techs that go over and above and treat your loved ones like their own family. My mom has had challenges during her time here. Two of her med techs deserve a shout out for going over and above on many occasions. I would like to personally thank Neesa and Anita. Their dedication is heart warming and I know my mom will get the care she deserves when it is their shift. The food is disappointing. They used to have more choices but they no longer offer that. Obviously the Covid virus is a factor in some of these challenges so I hope things can get back to a higher quality with more choices in the near future. Middle management staff is available for questions. The executives could be better at returning calls in a timely manner. Overall The Rose Ga den offers a friendly clean environment.

I just want to take a moment to mention the amazing Yahaira Rodriguez. She is the heart and soul of Twelve Oaks Memory Care. She prances around all day making the residents laugh, entertaining then with dance, games, crafts, and all while having a huge smile. My Grandmother Marta Vale loves her and I’ve watched how Yahaira treats her and all the residents and I am just so thankful she is there. She truly is a treasure and I honestly hope she gets well- taken care of because I would never want her to be anywhere but there because she brings an energy that is rare to find. Thank you for all you do.

My mother in law Marta is in the twelve oaks memory care unit at the rose garden. I wanted to give a special shout out to Yahaira Rodriguez the activities coordinator. Her dedication and loyalty to the residents is shown in all that she does. She is an asset to twelve oaks.
