Inspired Living Lakewood Ranch

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jessy and Dee at Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch. Knowing my mom is cared for by people who are compassionate, attentive, and genuinely kind gives me such peace of mind. They always go above and beyond to make sure she feels comfortable, respected, and cared for every day. It’s clear they truly love what they do, and it shows in the way they treat the residents like family. I am incredibly grateful for their patience, dedication, and the positive environment they create. Thank you both for everything you do for my mom and all the residents!

My mother was a resident of Inspired Living (IL) for 7.5 years. During her residency we saw staff come & go, 4 executive directors & she lived through the daunting time period of Covid. Relative to other facilities in Manatee County, IL had very few deaths & weathered through the unchartered territory of the pandemic amazingly well. The current executive director, Zach, has been there for a couple of years. He has done a masterful job of bringing continuity, strong leadership, good communication between staff/families & well-trained staff. Throughout my mother’s stay, IL has had empathetic & engaging caregivers. Recently, my mom fell & broke her hip. At 97 years & moderate dementia, surgery was not an option. We engaged hospice & opted to have her transferred back to IL from the hospital. The IL staff was remarkable in her last days as we sat vigil with her. We are incredibly grateful for their tender care, diligence & the compassion they demonstrated towards my mom & our family. There are so many staff to thank & we regret that we cannot remember everyone’s name. But, we would like to acknowledge first & foremost, Marie, who is an exceptional & committed caregiver who had a lovely rapport with mom. Also, Jesse, DeeDee, Dee, George & Nicole, Stephanie & Annette at the reception desk & Jacqueline in the dining room. Overall, we would highly recommend this facility. It has a well organized & varied activities program with fun social & theme related activities. The food is notably good & nicely presented despite being mass produced for a large contingency. We are grateful for everyone who made my mom’s last 7+ years a positive & caring experience for her & for consistently & graciously meeting her daily needs.

Alaska and all of the dining room staff go above and beyond to ensure they provide an excellent experience for residents and family alike

My mother was a resident at Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch for over four years, having lived in both the Assisted Living and Memory Care sections. During this time, she had many enjoyable experiences with the many activities provided by the staff. Whether it was Dollar Bingo, or board games, card games, puzzles, or the weekly live entertainers, there was always a full agenda for mom to choose from every day of the week. Mealtime worked out well for her, as well, with a menu including a variety of selections, not to mention the between meal snacks and Ice Cream Socials. After moving over to the Memory Care section, mom was able to receive a higher level of care and assistance. The staff in Memory Care was very hands-on and attentive. The supervisors Marquis and Donna were wonderful to work with, as was Irene on the front desk. Their re-assurance and communication always put me at ease. I will forever be grateful for Zach the Director and his entire team at Inspired Living for the care and compassion they provided to my mother in her final years.

Inspired Living Lakewood Ranch is an amazing community with a fantastic staff who genuinely care about the residents. There are so many activities offered, creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. It’s clear how much pride the team takes in what they do. Highly recommend!
