4.3 · 66 reviewsEveryone was so kind and polite. Lots of smiles. Definitely made mom feel welcomed. The place is very clean beautiful and comfortable for residents and their loved ones when they visit. Nice array of activities too!
Activities every day, more during the week than weekends. Have not received any complaints about the food, even from conversations with other residents. Staff is helpful when we call and ask for some assistance. Most are studio apartments, a few shared with separate bedroom/bathroom. Mom is in one of those and it is working nicely. All nice sized.
There is a shortage of staff and care is minimal. Since [date removed] admission, he has had one shower given by staff. I have given him all others. We were promised two a week but I’ve heard every excuse why they can’t do that. I shave him, clean his dentures and many times when I come his walker is no where near him and he has fallen often because they don’t seem to care to remind him he needs it. There is no nurse after 6 p.m. I can’t begin to list all of the items that have come up missing since he’s been there, many in the first week. His glasses, hearing aids, jacket, shoes, throw for…

I shave him, clean his dentures and many times when I come his walker is no where near him and he has fallen often because they don’t seem to care to remind him he needs it. There is no nurse after 6 p.m. I can’t begin to list all of the items that have come up missing since he’s been there, many in the first week. His glasses, hearing aids, jacket, shoes, throw for his chair, and the one most disconcerting, his wedding band which he has never removed since he retired. I was able to locate his hearing aids at the bottom of a wastebasket. His legs and feet are so very swollen from sleeping so much sitting up in a chair without elevating the foot rest, that they now are seeping. They were not this way upon admission. I would not choose this facility again.

They are wonderful at superior. They have numerous activities they encourage the residents to participate. The staff is very caring of their residents and my dad has even gained some weight so the food must be good
So after my 1 star review. I have spoken to many, at Superior Residences. My 96yr old grandmother is glad to be back with, friends. Glad to say my conversations with all staff and the Director went okay. Very unhappy with the lack of care. My grandmother recently received if her Shower days are 2x a week. How on earth did it go unseen and unnoticed. Her Pacemaker was coming through her skin. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE
