HearthStone at Wildwood is a senior living community in Oxford, Florida, near the Orlando area. It offers assisted living and memory care. Assisted living uses the Blue Sky Experience to organize personalized support around residents’ needs and routines. Connections by Ciel is its memory-care program for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. The two settings have different apartment layouts and care approaches.

The community holds a Florida Limited Nursing Services license, which permits licensed nursing professionals to provide select nursing services in the assisted living setting. Connections by Ciel combines specialized care approaches with meaningful engagement, with support adapted as residents’ needs change. Memory-care services include an on-site team around the clock, health monitoring, daily wellness checks, personalized wellness programs and care coordination. Rehabilitation services are provided on site through third-party partners; visiting physicians and home-health providers are also available on site.
Assisted-living apartments include studio and one-bedroom plans. The River Birch studio is 348 to 408 square feet, with a large bedroom, two closets, a fully equipped kitchenette and a private bathroom. The Silver Maple one-bedroom is listed at 464 to 593 square feet. Memory care offers Coral studio apartments measuring 289 to 340 square feet. Weekly housekeeping, personal laundry and linen service are listed for both care settings. Scheduled transportation is offered, and transportation is also listed among memory-care services. The community is pet-friendly, with guidelines for residents to discuss with the team.
Dining is available in a restaurant-style setting with flexible timing. Had a high degree of staff turnover these first couple years. Sometimes difficulty in getting showers. But mom loves playing bingo.
Beautiful community near the villages! If you or your loved one need assisted living or memory care, schedule a tour with the dedicated team. The team is caring and always make each day special for the residents.

AWFUL ! My wife was in Memory Care due to Alzheimer's here for 11 weeks (Sept 11-Nov 21, 2025) until I had to remove her fearing for her life. She was admitted to ER for unresponsiveness with an ER diagnosis of Polypharmacy (Over medicated with sedatives prescribed by Hearthstone's nursing staff) . She was found naked in a man resident's room witnessed by another residents daughter. The daughter finally got an aide to come and heard banging on the wall for 15 minutes until she came out. Tests that were to be ordered such as labs and urinalysis were promised but never ordered for ankles so swollen and possible urinary infection ( which was was found in the new facility in one week ) she couldn't wear shoes. The day after I took her to another facility 3 fist size yellow bruises were found on her back. Bruising of this nature takes 7-10 days to discolor, which coincides with her being in the room with the man resident and aide. Good luck having anyone return phone calls. Lots of turnover in the 2 months my wife was there.
Manager, Carrie orders catering every single day and does not tip. I usually backed my car up and load up all the catering and then I get there and no sign of Guess Who…. Carrie!!! Thank you Mrs. Stalbaum!
This place always has alarms going off from the building and in the parking lot, that disturbs the peace of the neighborhood beside them. When people call they are rude and rush people off the phone, not to mention the problems continue.
We visited many assisted living facilities. Unfortunately the first one was the wrong one. Then by some faith of luck we found the the Hearthstone. It was day and night when we first walked into thé place compared to all the others , it was alive with friendly residents and staff. In no way did it look like a typical rest home. The staff there is amazing and it doesn’t matter what they’re job is they do it because they enjoy it. The cleaning staff to the wait staff and management I can’t find a complaint . I would not have problem sending a loved one there because they caring people. I could go on and on how pleased my wife and I saw how my sister was treated. A big thank you to your company.
