2.3 · 12 reviewsA dear friend and companion was placed at this facility after being released from the hospital for rehab post stroke care. He was only there 10 days in that time he developed a UTI with sepsis, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism and a subdural stroke from a fall the denied happened. He now in ICU . This is an absolutely horrible facility if you care about your family do not send them there it’s dirty, nursing care is nonexistent.

I was a resident of Harts Harbor, and while most of the staff were okay, the front office staff left a lot to be desired. Even though I repeatedly told them that there was no way I would be staying there once I got my settlement from my auto injury case, the front office kept on pressuring me to sign the paperwork that would allow them to take the lion’s share of my SSDI. They also put me in with a roommate who was clearly nuts, and one of the agency nurses also tried to have me Baker Acted for having a meltdown after being kept up by my roommate who was trying to crowd me out. I was a resident of Harts Harbor, and while most of the staff were okay, the front office staff left a lot to be desired. Even though I repeatedly told them that there was no way I would be staying there once I got my settlement from my auto injury case, the front office kept on pressuring me to sign the paperwork that would allow them to take the lion’s share of my SSDI. They also put me in with a roommate who was clearly nuts, and one of the agency nurses also tried to have me Baker Acted for having a meltdown after being kept up by my roommate who was trying to crowd me out. It was one of the regular staff nurses who finally got my troublesome roommate moved back to her old room, and I got another roommate who was less of a pain to deal with. I can only say good things about the physical and occupational therapists. They kept me working, and they even made it fun. That being said, I wouldn’t want anyone to send their relatives there full time,because other than the PT and OT staff the other staff were not so caring.

ABSOLUTELY , do not go to this facility, They're just there for the money....don't care about you personally, the nurses are a joke.... the food sucks, the place have bugs in the bathroom, they treat you like Dirt !!!!!!
Harts Harbor took good care of my father-in-law during his stay from the hospital to another facility in our city. The financial person took time out to explain his insurance and Medicare to us. When we were able to move him from Jax to Tallahassee it was a smooth move thank to the staff. They gave a great send off.
Everyone I've come into contact with so far has been very welcoming. When it mattered most the staff went above and beyond. I just can't thank you guys enough. Those caring for my mother are top notch. Thank you guys for all you've done to help my family navigate all the barriers, questions, and concerns that we came with.
My mother is at Harts Harbor Health Care Center. It was wonderful because they're really taking the COVID situation serious. We're able to see her, but they're maintaining the six feet apart, and just making sure that she stays healthy, and they're taking care of her well. The staff is kind and any information that I needed they were able to give it to me. They're pretty much business like, but as far as anything personal, they're on point. They're not letting anyone in the facility right now due to the COVID situation, so when we met with my mom they had us all outside on a patio. Everything was nice and neat. The patio was well manicured.
This facility is not very people oriented, they are very slowful, rude, the rooms are nasty. I want to get my loved one out of this place before it is definitely too late
