Edgewater at Waterman Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Terribly long waits for nursing staff to answer patient calls once nurses button is pressed. Therapy shows up half the time. Food is usally incorrect to what is written on the order, missing condiments and straws. Food is usally ice cold. Occasionally it's warm. Facility is extremely out dated and run down looking. I will not allow my father back to this rehab center again. Positive is it does not smell like a nursing home and the A/C in my dad's room seem to work well.

My loved one went there for rehab after falling and breaking her hip. Do you not trust these people? They are awful. They will not do rehab with them. They tell them to stay in bed and pee and poop in their diaper. They will not help them get up to go use the restroom they give them cold showers and yell at them nightly. This was the worst place I ever seen had to pull my loved one out of there.

My mom has been here for almost a month. Could not be happier with the facility and the care given. The staff from the CNA’s to PT/ OT, nurses, food staff ( the food was top shelf) and our case worker Sylvia were amazing. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing this type of care. I have been in many others with family members and this one is above all others. Thank you to all that cared for my mom.

I wish I could give this nursing home a zero if you love your loved ones please avoid this nursing home Edgewater in Long Beach California this place need to be shut down and the case manager and employees need to be locked up the way they care for these patients my nephew had a stroke couldn't feed himself they let his food sit up for an hour and a half before anyone feeds him I lives out of town and calls him everyday his family and I send him gifts and things he need items the staff there steals they have stole many times from him his pain pills are not given to him on time he uses the bathroom on himself it be 45 minutes to an hour before he is cleaned up I had to call many times the front desk he'd let me know he been hurting no one answer the buzzer the worker hide from doing their duties the food was lousy sometimes so hard he couldn't eat it as well as cold he had heart pills they did not give him his pills on time even sometime had to be rushed to the emergency room a bad chest pain because they didn't give him his pills on time he passed away while being at this nursing home the worst nursing home ever if you love your loved ones please take my word for do not put them in this nursing home these people need to be investigated and shut down and I'm sure my nephew is not the only one they have been treated like this very abusive nursing home case manager is terrible she need to be locked up

My mother is in there right now, nurses are not keeping up on Meds and she is crying and in pain! This place needs investigated, wrong mom to mess with!
