Amazing facilities and a wonderful memory care department. My great aunt was very comfortable and well taken care of. Every visit we had with her she was in good spirits. Thanks again to the team at discovery commons and especially the memory care staff.
As a healthcare provider, I’ve had the opportunity to visit Discovery Commons San Pablo on multiple occasions. The staff, especially in the memory care unit, are consistently caring, attentive, and genuinely engaged with the residents. The community is always clean and well maintained, and it’s clear the residents receive compassionate, quality care.

I am a local volunteer that comes to the memory care. The care and compassion that I see the staff and management give the residents here is beautiful. I see first hand how much patience it takes working with these seniors and they really do have it.
Discovery commons is a very welcoming, clean facility that I would recommend to any family. Every staff member cares so much about each of the residents. The facility is definitely worth touring for any loved one who is looking to move into an ALF.
Discovery Commons San Pablo in my honest opinion is the best assisted living facility in close to Jax Beach! The food is fantastic! Today my mom had meatloaf and mashed potatoes and she couldn’t wait to tell me how much she enjoyed her dinner. The facility is the perfect size and everyone that works there are so friendly. As soon as you walk in Tammy or Keri greets you with a smile! The Executive Director Dana door is always open and she gives me a big hug when she sees me! Mario is always in the dining room assisting residents, I can go on and on about Julia who has been there for 20 years!!! We searched a lot of places but feel we made the best decision! It also helps that they are right across from Mayo! Before you look anywhere else please stop by Discovery Commons San Pablo!!!

Moving a loved one into assisted living is never an easy decision, but the team made us feel comfortable, informed, and supported every step of the way. What stands out most is how much the staff genuinely care about the residents. Everyone has been welcoming, patient, and attentive to my mom’s needs. The community is clean, inviting, and feels more like a home than a facility. Most importantly, my mom is happy. She has made friends, enjoys the activities, and feels cared for every day. As a family member, there is tremendous peace of mind knowing she is living in a place where she is respected, valued, and treated like family. I would highly recommend Discovery Commons San Pablo to anyone looking for a caring and supportive assisted living community for a loved one.
Discovery Commons San Pablo is the BEST ALF in Jacksonville!! I enjoy visiting my family! She's happy and always keeping busy! On Fridays at Happy Hour she gets up and dances and never stops smiling. Tammy at the front desk keeps me laughing and the staff is friendly and we are so happy we picked Discovery Commons San Pablo. Thank for the love and care.
