3.2 · 45 reviewsWalked in and no one asked name or business there. Receptionist walked in back to admissions person instead of calling extension. Said she was at lunch. They want cash...private pay only. Lobby was not inviting and not safe. Anyone can walk in without addressing self and business. Never asked who I was. Off my list. See state reviews and history of ownership. You will find most facilities have some issues but first impressions and documented past are most important when leaving your precious cargo.
Roaches, terrible food and no hot water. Difficult to get your laundry done and given back.
Medically negligent theives and liars. Do not go here for short term rehabilitation. They are practiced in doing everything to de-habilitate you, or your loved one, so they can put you, or them, into long term care. They hold people as financial hostages. I regret that I can't give them negative stars.

My father was a patient at Cedar Hill Nursing and Rehab Center for 3 months prior to his passing in the facility. He was admitted with multiple issues including a very tricky Afib heart condition and we knew that he may not make it back out. I truly believe that Sitoria the DON and the CNA team did the best that they could while handling my fathers care. They were all very knowledgeable in answering questions and also made sure that we got to speak to his doctors when we requested. Joel and Debbie in p/t were excellent in working with him. Tessa Mooney the Admissions Director was amazing and went above and beyond her job responsibilities numerous times by also checking in and making sure his needs were being met. She truly cares about the patients that she accepts and are being cared for in the facility. Jan Beaty in the front office kept me very informed on anything insurance related and was also readily available to answer any questions along those lines. Gary Cooke the facility Manager also came in a few times to see if everything was going well and to see if we had any concerns. It is a tough decision to trust the care of a loved one in a facility of this type. But, I have no regrets in entrusting the staff at Cedar Hill Nursing and Rehab Center.
This goes out to people who have or send a family member to rehab for one reason or another... I was in a rehab house in Jasonville. Never in my life had I entered a person's room that was so unclean that I had to vomit and leave immediately. My head hurt and my nose was burning, a mix of urine and fecal matter was nauseating. It was made known to the nurse at the reception. A place with a mix of psychiatric patients and senior rehabilitation. If it were my relative, I would sue this place for the treatment and the uncleanliness.
Great facility!! New owners took over months ago and you can see the improvements. Definitely recommend.
