Brookdale Dr. Phillips MC

My Mom moved from Brookdale Dr. Phillips Assisted Living (AL) to the Memory Care unit (MC) across the parking lot in January 2023, a few months ago, after living almost 3 years in Assisted Living. It was an easy move. The physical move itself of my Mom's belongings and furniture was done by the staff there. My wife and I helped, but they did the heavy lifting. It was the right move at the right time, but we were hesitant at first. Although our experience with the AL side was great, our experience with the MC unit has been equally great. We cannot say enough about good things about the Executive Director, Office Manager, Nursing, nurses, CNA's, activity coordinators, receptionists, everyone. They all do what is necessary to get the job done. They all chip in. There is a family feeling to the place. I highly recommend Brookdale Dr. Phillips Memory Care to anyone looking for a great place for Mom, Dad, or any other loved one! They do a great job!!!

My grandmother was at Brookdale Dr. Phillips for several years. She was treated so well by the staff at Brookdale and loved to tell me about all the fun activities that she would participate in. Whenever I would visit, I got to interact with the staff and they were all very helpful in answering my questions. They really seemed to care about my grandmother. I highly recommend Brookdale for your loved ones, they will be in good hands.

Staff is always friendly, professional and engaging with all the residents. Residents are encouraged to participate with activities throughout the day. I’ve seen residents enjoy baking, gardening or walking the courtyard.

I found the staff to be friendly and engaging with the residents. The open floor plan was nice with the indoor atrium giving so much natural light. It had a home atmosphere very inviting. Everyone seemed happy and well cared for at this community.

My mom has Parkinson’s Disease, which comes with dementia as it progresses. She had been living at Brookdale Dr. Phillips Assisted Living for one year. When her dementia got worse, we moved her to Brookdale Dr. Phillips Memory Care facility, which is on the same property. The price was surprisingly good. The Memory Care building layout is well thought out so the staff can see everyone in the main living space. Residents have private rooms. There is snack time everyday, which the residents seem to enjoy. The staff is well trained and wonderful. They make an effort to engage with the residents in a cheerful and supportive manner. As the residents are at different stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia, the staff caters to the level of their needs. The nurses call me when my mom has any kind of medical issue. My mom is very content here, and I know she is well taken care of, which puts my mind at ease.
