Being Unprofessional to your staff is horrible. A company that allows their staff to be belittled. I can’t believe the email I’m looking at with a nursing calling staff names is absurd.
I toured Better Days Senior Living. The outside was very inviting, and things were very clean and neat. It looked like someone's home when I walked there. The air was refreshing, and the residents talked to us as they came out. They were talking and very inviting. The staff came out, as they were going about their business. They introduced themselves and they welcomed us, and so everything was very nice. The staff was friendly.
Carlos and Aline are such wonderful people, they truly care for their residents and families. It is a beautiful home with great food, and the extra bonus of having a physician as an owner puts them a step above all the rest. I would absolutely recommend them!
I can truly say that the facility is definitely clean. However, the one on one care mentioned on the website is non-existent, as they mentioned on their recent letter; and therefore speaking truthfully, behind the scenes. Alzheimer's and dementia patients are welcome as long as they will just sit in a wheelchair and nothing else. Otherwise, they're a nuisance and will be kept in the dining area because they don't have the time to deal with such patients. Furthermore, how can hot noodle soup be served to an Alzheimer's patient and then tell the patient to be careful because the soup is hot? What kind of care is that? The facility is owned by a physician, it makes me wonder if the patients at his practice get the same care as the ones in his senior care facility? In conclusion, I feel bad for the patients at this facility. I wouldn't wish this care on my worst enemy. Let's hope they don't retaliate with further mistreatment because of this review.
Caring and compassionate! The staff is wonderful with the residents. I love that it is a small community. I think there are about 10 residents. Nice room sizes. Good fresh food daily. good activities too and good care for my loved one. I highly recommend Better Days senior living. Thank you thank you!
