Apart from decrepit conditions each patient has to endure with bathrooms thst have soiled clothing open in trash cans and around bedsides, dried puke buckets stuffed under beds of dependent patients, cockroach infested rooms packed 4 to a room that should only reasonably room 2 MAYBE 3 at most, they also violate patient rights, human rights, and plain human decency. My mother unfortunately had the displeasure of being treated here, where she had multiple hospital admissions due to infections from the high risk conditions they allow their…

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. Apart from decrepit conditions each patient has to endure with bathrooms thst have soiled clothing open in trash cans and around bedsides, dried puke buckets stuffed under beds of dependent patients, cockroach infested rooms packed 4 to a room that should only reasonably room 2 MAYBE 3 at most, they also violate patient rights, human rights, and plain human decency. My mother unfortunately had the displeasure of being treated here, where she had multiple hospital admissions due to infections from the high risk conditions they allow their patients to live in. They have had multiple DCF reports along with one of our own where they sent my mother to the hospital with a bloodsugar reading of 29 and dried feces covering her from her knees to her neck. The ER had to cut her clothing off of her. The staff is entirely incompetent, unresponsive, unreliable and dangerously under qualified for having to care for dependent patients. I tried for years to move her into another facility and was left without response for years. WHICH BORDERS PATIENT IMPRISONMENT. We finally had to send DCF, threaten lawsuits, fight to get ahold of administrators. When packing my mother's belongings after saving her from this HELLHOLE, I walked into her room to find a MALE "caregiver" giving an elderly WOMAN a bath, no curtain pulled, no privacy, just leaving her vulnerable and exposed in front of my husband and I. We apologized to her, turned our shoulder to give her as much decency as we could and walked past 4 packed beds to reach my mothers living quarters. I couldn't warn people enough about this place. I wish they shut this place down or actually had management for patient care that is properly overseen. Id love to just blame poor caregivers; but this place as a hole is merely just a place to send your loved ones to die a painful, degrading, horrible death. NEVER SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE.

The Admin and DON talked to my mom countless times to make her feel happy during her stay and I really appreciated that.
The facility is beautiful inside and out. Staff is attentive and caring. The therapy team is the best because they take the time to get to know you as a person and what your goals are. The kitchen staff were so wonderful, they were able to meet my needs as a picky eater.

I really need to give a shout out to a few employees that made a huge difference in my outlook on nursing home customer service. I was highly impressed with Nurse Terry and her knowledge of my patient, her attentiveness to detail and her well respected relationship with the staff. Her professionalism did not go unnoticed. Secondly, was recently promoted Amanda to DON (Director of Nursing) which was imo well deserved. She went over and beyond to assist me and made sure to follow up every step of the way answering any question without hesitation. I really appreciated that. Lastly is Brittani who is a recently hired social worker. Brittani is doing an amazing job. Working in social service is no small task , especially when everyone's issue is a priority. Deadlines must be met. Admissions, Emergencies , Financing, medicaid applications, Staff and family communication & demands ......etc. I totally understand. My experience with her was awesome. She called, faxed and emailed, always keeping me in the loop. Thank you for an amazing job well done several times, every time. My hat goes off to that young lady. Brittani You Rock! Whenever you feel overwhelmed on or off the job, read this review, keep your head high and press on. Thank you.
It has gotten so much more better!
My mother went to this facility for one month due to her age and health issues. I wish I would had put her there sooner as for the staff was wonderful to her! She got a haircut they painted her nail and she was happy to be there! I have no bad things to report on this nursing home! Very clean also!!
Facility is very clean and welcoming. Staff is very friendly and willing to help especially Olivia. DON very helpful
Beautifully renovated and some of the sweetest staff I've ever met. Everyone seems happy and they are helpful with any questions or concerns. I tried the food and I couldn't believe how good it was. Their chef knows what he's doing! Its way better food then most restaurants. I was there when they had live music and it was fun to see everyone enjoying some beautiful music. All in all it is a very beautiful, clean, happy environment. I would feel at ease having my loved ones stay here!
