6 + years ago, my Mom was looking for a new home. Over 90 at the time, she was spry, clear headed and mobile. We found Angels in Lutz. Beautiful Assisted Living Facility pretty new at the time. It was very close to my home for quick visits (just to change remote batteries some times) but My Mom grew to love her 1-Bedroom at Angels. It was not the room, it was very nice and offered all she needed, but it was the people. From Dana and Nancy, Administrators, to Jo and Maria and the entire staff, I believe they loved each other. My Mom passed away last week. I am heartbroken, but I know that her time at Angels was such a blessing for these last 6-years. It is not just a home, but quickly becomes your extended family. Moving my mother into The Angels Living Center was the best decision our family could have made. While the initial move to assisted living was daunting, the staff made the transition seamless. As her needs increased, we transitioned her to their memory care unit, and I can say without hesitation that the care is exceptional. The staff in the memory care unit are not just caretakers; they are patient, loving, and deeply knowledgeable about dementia care. The environment is secure yet warm, clean, and smells wonderful (not like a hospital). They have engaging activities that keep residents active and purposeful rather than sitting in their rooms. The communication between the nursing staff and our family was always proactive and transparent, giving us true peace of mind. A huge thank you to the entire staff for going above and beyond. This is one of the most beautiful breathtaking facilities I have ever seen. I went around to about 10 different assisted living in the area and everything about this one said it was the right home for my grandma. Staffing and management go above and beyond to make sure all your needs and wants are met as much as possible. Everyone in the facility is extremely welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure you feel at home.
I love the people that work here! They treat my grandmother with so much respect. No where else I’d want her to be.
The staff is very professional. They helped my mother through a very difficult period of her life. They were caring and supportive. They also were flexible when it came to affordable care. Would definitely recommend.
