Welcome Home Assisted Living Facility

Before arriving to Welcome Home ALF my mother was staying at a mega ALF with hundreds of patients and what seemed like not enough nurses to take care of all the patients. It looks nice from the outside but lacked heart and soul. When I visited my mother her room and herself always smelled like urine and was treated very inconsiderately by the nurses, even while I was visiting her. However, I was quickly relieved after my mother was transferred to Welcome Home Assisted Living Home. Welcome Home is the opposite of those big facilities. It is a home of 4 rooms and enough staff to take excellent care of all the residents sufficiently. Robin, Susan and the staff all have hearts of gold and treated my mother like family, she was always well fed and very clean. The entire home is well kept like a five star hotel. She never smelled like urine. Robin and Susan always kept in constant communication with updates regarding my mother’s health, either through phone calls or text messages. I truly recommend this place to any one looking for heartfelt care.

I was so thankful that my Mom was fortunate enough to make the move from a larger Assisted Living Home to Welcome Home. Susan and her staff are able to give more attention and care to each resident, and they have created a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. I'm grateful to them for making my Mom feel as special and significant as she was! Susan and her amazing staff genuinely care about their residents; this is truly a calling for them that do not take lightly, and leaving my Mom in their care provided me such peace of mind.

She and her staff are intensely committed to providing their clients (about six) with the care they deserve along with the medical expertise they need. You won't call this establishment a "facility" because it is so much more. It is a clean and beautiful home with home-cooked meals and gardens. The care givers are kind, dedicated and have a high standard of care. They took such good care of my in-laws. This is what every health facility should be. We are so thankful to have found Welcome Home. We highly recommend them.

My wife and I are incredibly pleased with the care her 97-year old mother is receiving at Welcome Home ALF. The staff is very personable, professional, caring, and attentive to the needs of the residents. The ALF is a private home in a nice residential neighborhood well adapted for its purpose. It has three single bedrooms and one double bedroom perfect for a husband and wife. The entire home is configured for residents using wheelchairs and walkers. The staff has gone out of their way to learn mom's likes and dislikes to make her stay a happy, comfortable one. They also arranged for home visits by the nurse practitioner and the podiatrist to assist with her care. We are pleased with the quality of care she is receiving, and she is happy in the home-like environment of Welcome Home ALF.
