This is a dedicated memory care, but they have great activities and spacious but secure outdoor garden space with water features and seating that are breathtaking. I like all the windows that keep the community light and bright all day. The staff was so engaged with the residents, and I saw a that they were taking extra time to connect with the residents. The accept a couple of Medicaid waivers which is so helpful! I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.
My husband has moved into Venice Green Village. It is out away from town. It's very peaceful and very quiet there, and it's got a pretty white picket fence all around it. It's a little bit of an older building, but because it's 100% memory care, everyone is free to move around inside. That was what I liked about it, to begin with. The facilities are quite clean, too. My husband's room is very clean and big. It's all painted white. It needs some decoration because I wanted to have a room where we could put our own things in it, so we feel more at home. I'm happy with the room. I had lunch…

My husband's room is very clean and big. It's all painted white. It needs some decoration because I wanted to have a room where we could put our own things in it, so we feel more at home. I'm happy with the room. I had lunch there today for the first time. The food is appropriate for the people. Some residents are unable to use silverware, and some have swallowing problems, so everything is cut up appropriately and cooked appropriately, and it's all very clean. They're doing it appropriately for senior people that need care. My husband eats every meal, and I'm shocked over that because he is usually a picky eater.
Exceptional thought and care are provided by the administration!

It's been a great place for our loved one.
The place might be small but the staff take very good care of your family member and they always communicate with you.
The administrator [name removed] is the glue that holds that place together. The experience has been mostly good, and we picked this community because it was the only place that would take my loved one, due to an alcohol problem.
My grandmother lives here and I enjoy seeing her pictures doing arts and crafts and various activities on their Facebook page. I live in Chicago, so I can't come down much to see her but it is helpful for me to feel close by seeing her online. They do a lot of activities that are centered around what she would enjoy so she looks very happy
