Medication support has specific limits: facility staff are not licensed to administer medications. Instead, they supervise and record residents’ self-administration. Medications are stored in individual containers in a central area, and residents are encouraged to come at designated times to take prescribed doses. Room sizes and shapes vary, and residents may bring their own furnishings or use facility furnishings without an additional charge. Rooms are available for double occupancy or as private rooms with shared bathrooms. Small appliances are not allowed in rooms, though residents may use a community kitchen.

Utilities are furnished. Cable television, internet and telephone service can be arranged privately for individual rooms, and a television in a common room is available to residents who do not arrange in-room cable. Meals are served in the main dining room, described by the operator as a family-style space. Menus are developed with a registered dietitian; meal preparation restricts salt, sugar and fats, while residents may season food at the table. Temporary room service is available after a hospital stay or during a short-term illness. Coffee, water and tea are provided throughout the day.

Planned activities include bingo, crafts, board games and community outings, with special events scheduled during the year. Local churches, organizations, groups and volunteers sponsor some activities. Other listed options include movie nights, music programs, resident-run activities, day trips and devotional gatherings. Shared spaces and amenities include a library, walking paths, a garden, a patio, outdoor common areas and a barber or salon. In central Niceville, the community is near shopping, banks, pharmacies and restaurants; the operator reports that a hospital and physician-office complexes are approximately three miles away.
