This is not just an ordinary retirement village... The gorgeous Village of Gainesville is filled with the most Loving and Fun Staff, Gourmet Meals, Exciting 10-15 Activities each Day, High End Resort Swimming and Court Facilities and the Best Welcoming Friendly Residents Ever!!! As my grandson said, "Nana, this place is like living on a deluxe Cruise Ship!!" Absolutely!!!
I feel safe and protected. This facility is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. There are activities and options for involvement that meet the various needs of a diverse population. The background of residents provides opportunities for growth, creativity, and exploration for lifelong learning. Moving to The Village three years ago was the best decision I could have made.

Our family has had such an amazing experience with The Village of Gainesville. Mom absolutely loves it there, and more importantly, it truly feels like home to her. The staff is absolutely amazing, and Mom loves all of them so much. Everyone has been so welcoming, caring, and supportive, which has made such a difference for her. There is always something fun and engaging going on, and one thing that really helped during her first few weeks was our family encouraging and helping her get involved in activities right away so she could meet people and build connections. We would highly recommend other families do the same for their loved ones because it made such a difference for her transition and comfort level. We visit often and have even started doing monthly movie nights with the residents, which has been such a fun and special experience for everyone. Seeing Mom so happy, involved, and thriving means the world to us, and we are so grateful to The Village of Gainesville for creating such a caring and vibrant community.❤️
The Village at Gainesville provided catering and bar service for my farm wedding last weekend. Our menu was executed to perfection, and we received many compliments from our guests! Thank you to The Village at Gainesville team : Catering Manager-Matt Peters, Chef De Cuisine-Matt Williams, and our bartender-Naomi, for helping make our wedding memorable, delicious, and fun for all!
Starting my sixth month at the Village today I wish I could hand all here a bouquet! For housekeeping to restaurants each day brings a joy For neighbors to maintenance and all they employ. Our comfort level gets better each day As we learn what to choose for learning and play. From lectures to movies to library shelves, From bus transport instead of driving ourselves, From trips to the pools or pickleball court The Village resembles a first class resort. If I reach the point where my mind’s in decline It’s good to know the care still will be fine!
There are so many things I love bout living at The Village. There is a large variety of activities available, but one of my favorite experiences has been the travel opportunities. We take overnight trips to places nearby on a coach bus. It’s an experience I couldn’t have on my own. The Village does all the planning. I just go and enjoy. They even go to far away places. I am really looking forward to an upcoming cruise to Alaska. I just can’t wait!!! Living at The Village makes life wonderful!
I don't appreciate how the CNA Stephanie used hard profanity towards another worker who's not only new but (NEW) to being a CNA instead of her teaching and showing her how to do things so it wont happen again you just went straight to using profanity in front of everyone.. The head nurse asia was present during this time and instead of doing her job by correcting she agrees and see no problem with Stephanie actions I would hate to take things to the point someone will lose their job cause you know if someone was to find out residents are getting neglected for employees own personal feelings lawsuits will be happening 🙃fix your staff and fix it now
