The Colonnade at Carrollwood

Meals are served three times a day in a restaurant-style dining room, with seasonal menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The community describes meals as freshly prepared and says menus can be adjusted for dietary needs. Dining options also include anytime dining, room service, guest meals and a private dining room for special occasions. Weekly housekeeping and linen and laundry service are provided, and beds are made daily. Transportation is also available to local stores and community services. Pets are welcome.

Indoor and outdoor shared spaces include a landscaped courtyard and gardens with secure walking paths, a bar or bistro, a library, a media room with television and a fitness center. Additional listed spaces include multiple gathering areas, a beauty salon, a barber shop and a club room for special occasions. A patio and private dining room offer other places for residents to gather or host guests. Recreational areas listed include raised garden beds, a putting green, a game room and a movie or theater room.

A full-time activity director oversees an active-living program that includes live music and entertainment, wellness and educational programs, movies, games, arts and crafts, celebrations and outings. Other listed activities include current-events groups, brain-fitness activities, walking and gardening groups, stretching, yoga, tai chi and cooking or art classes. Social events and recreation include happy hours, dances, trivia, karaoke, cards and games, and seasonal celebrations. Programs also include intergenerational activities, Wii bowling, a men’s club, a book club, educational speakers and visits from a chaplain or priest.
