Ask about this communityThe Clair Winston House in Macclenny, Florida, is an assisted living facility in Baker County. Its Florida AHCA license number is 12481, and its listed capacity is five residents. Facility information describes individualized services, and English is listed as a language spoken. The FALA directory says the facility accepts Medicaid. The capacity gives a sense of the facility’s listed scale, but does not indicate current occupancy or room availability.
A third-party profile lists both private rooms and shared bedrooms. It describes rooms as furnished and lists telephone access as an in-room feature. Care services in that profile include 24-hour supervision, help with bathing and dressing, assistance with transfers, and support with activities of daily living. It also lists non-ambulatory care and wheelchair accessibility. These entries describe services noted in the listing; they do not establish that each service or room type is available in every situation.
Medication management and coordination with health care providers also appear in the third-party care list. The amenities include an emergency alert system, while housekeeping and laundry or dry-cleaning are listed as services. Move-in coordination, transportation arrangements, and parking are also noted. The third-party profile cautions that its information has not been verified or approved by the operator, so these details should be understood as listing information rather than independently confirmed current offerings.
The facility’s FALA description lists arts and crafts, an activity program, and social, cultural, and life-enrichment activities. A third-party profile adds movie nights and community-sponsored activities. Outdoor amenities listed there include a garden and walking paths, alongside organized activities. Dining information identifies a dining room, meal preparation and service, scheduled meals, and all-day dining. It also lists allergy-sensitive options, diabetes diets, and accommodation of special dietary restrictions.
The FALA directory places the facility in downtown Macclenny, two blocks north of Highway 90. It says local eateries, a park, a church, and a pharmacy are within walking distance, and also notes nearby businesses and places of worship. A third-party neighborhood profile places Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital and CVS Pharmacy less than a mile away, and Macclenny Pediatrics about 0.3 miles away. The listings provide nearby destinations but do not describe how residents travel to them.
The Clair Winston House also advertises adult day services for people who do not live at the facility but attend during the day. This is distinct from assisted living for residents. The available description establishes that daytime services are offered, but does not give their hours or a detailed schedule of activities. The transportation arrangements listed for the community are not specifically described as part of the adult day program.

Stephanie and Kristen are wonderful. The Clair Winston House is a great community resource!
Our 57 year old daughter sustained a"profound" brain injury (TBI) due to a car accident when she was 16. She's been in a number of adult day programs since then - and none come close to the level of compassion and loving service she receives daily at CW! She looks forward to going each day and comes home happy. This was a profound gift of God for our whole family and we thank him daily for all the wonderful caring team at CW and for Stephanie who founded this much needed ministry to our loved ones.
