Just wanted to say thank you to everyone at Sunny Hills. The caring, helpful attitude of everyone there makes such a difference. My aunt has been there for 3 weeks now and already feels at home - she especially loves the morning exercise group! Quick shoutout to the kitchen staff too for accommodating her dietary restrictions.
The team at Sunny Hills has been remarkably supportive and understanding, especially during tough situations. When Dad first arrived, he was combative and refused to take his meds - a nightmare scenario for any facility. Instead of giving up, they took time to learn his Navy background and now approach him with military time and terminology, which completely changed his response to care. They even created a special corner in the common room with naval memorabilia!

After mom's third fall at home, we were desperate and visited 7 different facilities in the area. What stood out here was how they handled her Alzheimer's sundowning episodes. Instead of just medicating her like other places suggested, they created a whole evening routine with soft music and puzzles that actually works! Her anxiety has improved drastically and she's even started painting again - something she gave up 2 years ago. The night staff deserves a special mention... they check on her every 2 hours without fail and always make sure her favorite lavender tea is ready when she can't sleep. Yes, there was an adjustment period, but seeing her laugh during bingo nights makes it all worth it. Better than we could've ever hoped for!
Sunny Hills Assisted Living Facility in Sebring has made such a positive difference for my grandma. She feels right at home with the friendly staff and loves the nutritious meals. The 24-hour assistance and emergency call buttons make us feel at ease knowing she’s well looked after. This place has truly become her second home!
