Over the past few days, I had the privilege of spending time at one of our sister communities with Alice and her incredible team. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with such warmth and hospitality. Over the past few days, I had the privilege of spending time at one of our sister communities with Alice and her incredible team. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with such warmth and hospitality. I had the opportunity to enjoy both breakfast and lunch during my visit, and I was truly blown away by the presentation, quality, and overall dining experience. The atmosphere, the lifestyle, and the sense of community they provide are truly top-notch. If you or a loved one have been exploring senior living options, whether it’s Independent Living Villas or Independent Living Apartments, I would absolutely encourage you to connect with Alice and learn more about what their community has to offer. Sadly this place is now a corporate machine that doesn't care about it's residence at all. Their priority is maximizing revenue in any way possible. From fees to bring a meal over from the main building, to promising regular cleaning in the villas but actually only doing a very minor touch-up when they come monthly. The cleaners are there for 10-15 minutes. I'm not sure you can call that a "cleaning". Plan on spending out of pocket for a cleaning company if you really want your space cleaned and aren't able. Rent is now over FOUR THOUSAND A MONTH for a 2 bedroom duplex 'villa". They get minimal to no assistance (just the 10 minute monthly cleaning). Rent went up 350.00 this year. Quite a jump but they know an elderly person isn't likely to just up and move to another place. Maintenance response time is awful and you'll have to argue to even get movement on some thing. Nobody ever answers the phone at the desk. You'll call 10 times to get someone. 100% would not recommend this placed for your loved ones. It feels like they are taken advantage of on many levels.
We recently moved my mom to Seagrass, and it has been a wonderful experience. Sydney, Kim, Randy, and the entire staff have gone above and beyond to make her feel welcome. The community is exceptionally clean and well maintained, the food is fresh, and the activities are engaging. She always has opportunities to stay active and involved, and the current residents have been incredibly warm and welcoming to newcomers.
We needed something smaller and more convenient, and Seagrass Village of Panama City Beach was the place we chose. It's very clean. The staff is wonderful, and my villa is beautiful. The food is pretty good. They have numerous programs that you can be a part of. You can pick and choose, so I stay pretty busy here. They have a dog park, which is good. They also have an outdoor pool, trails, and a golf cart ready.
From the spacious villas with two car garage to the large, open and modern feel to the 1 & 2 bedroom apartments overlooking a he pool and courtyard areas. The environment is clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed to promote independence while offering the support residents need. The activities are fantastic with many residents participating. The food was excellent & the chef has been recognized for his outstanding dining experience.
Safe all around good place to live. Friendly residents. The apartment sizes and amenities are good as far as I know.
