This place is awful. The food is inedible. The med techs are unqualified. The cafeteria staff is mean and withholds food from residents. Have to use a form to get food. Do not eat that food. Does not take care of toilets or air conditioners.

We are deeply disturbed by what we witnessed during our recent visit. In our experience, the level of care here was completely unacceptable and raised serious concerns about patient safety and dignity. When we arrived, our loved one was eating food off the floor because no one was assisting him. We are deeply disturbed by what we witnessed during our recent visit. In our experience, the level of care here was completely unacceptable and raised serious concerns about patient safety and dignity. When we arrived, our loved one was eating food off the floor because no one was assisting him. The room smelled strongly of urine, with soiled towels and sheets left around him, and his feet were black from dirt as if they hadn’t been cleaned in far too long. No patient — especially someone recovering from a traumatic brain injury who depends on staff for basic care — should ever be left in those conditions. What we saw felt neglectful, disrespectful, and inhumane. Families trust facilities like this to provide compassionate, attentive care, and what we witnessed was the opposite. We strongly urge anyone considering this facility to think carefully and thoroughly research other options. Our experience left us heartbroken, alarmed, and advocating for immediate changes so no other family has to see their loved one treated this way.

I love living at Uptown is great, I love it here.

Moved my mom in here 5 years ago. She has consistently deteriorated. The place is getting worse and worse. It’s dirty and has a bug problem. They do not help the residents with bathing and never give medication on time. Do not put your parent here. It’s sad. Used to be a great place before the new management took over.

UPDATE: After finishing a phone call with Dennis the administrator at SeaCoast to inform him of his assistant administrator Kyle Hoover lack of empathy. He had the audacity to say to me that he's not trying to make an excuse but they deal with this all the time. I was flabbergasted when he replied with his answer. I feel, working in this type of field you should definitely have some sense of compassion. It 's only few words to say "I'm sorry for your loss". This place was somewhat a home for my mother before her passing. The staff was wonderful especially the head staff in the kitchen Cookie was wonderful to my mom. The Med tecs were amazing during the end of her life she required an additional care. The front desk receptionist was friendly as you were greeted especially Jennifer. She has assisted in so many things. On the last day of my moms passing after packing up my moms belongings I went to speak to the administrator regarding the financial portion of my moms rent and that I packed what I needed and left the rest for donations. Not once did he show any remorse and said I’m sorry for your loss. The insensitivity I received was not right. I received better treatment at spectrum when I had to drop off my mom’s cable box.

My mother moved into this facility on April 15 and sadly passed away on April 30. She was there for just 15 days! I found a voice recording she had accidentally taken on her phone, her breathing was so loud, raspy, and wheezy that she should have been immediately transported to the hospital. My brother was informed of our mother’s death via a voicemail! A voicemail! They have absolutely no proper procedures in place to deal with the death of one of their residents. I find that unbelievable! I was left alone with my deceased mother in the room, tasked with packing her belongings and carrying out everything myself, drowning in my grief! Her roommate tried to deceive me by claiming that all the shared kitchen items belonged to her, which turned out to be a complete lie. She said the portable ice maker was hers which I knew was untrue because my brother had bought it for my Mom for her birthday. When I said I knew the ice maker was my mom’s she had the nerve to ask me how much I wanted for it. I’m not trying to barter deals for my mother’s belongings 3 hours after she died; I’m numb with sorrow. Later, I discovered a list of items my mother had purchased from Amazon and Walmart and had them delivered directly to the facility. I went back to retrieve everything! If she would have been honest, I would have happily given everything to her. I couldn’t find my mother’s jewelry, which I knew she had taken with her. When I inquired about it, they claimed to have no knowledge of it. Apparently, my great-great-great-grandmother’s ring mysteriously vanished! It’s incredible that all the valuable jewelry went missing, while the costume jewelry was left behind. I could go on and on but I don’t want to waste one more minute of my life on this place! This facility is utterly reprehensible! I wish I could give them a negative 100 stars!
