Paradise Pointe Assisted Living & Memory Care

Feel so grateful to have found this place!! My mother was previously in a very nice facility in Orange City however, after a very bad fall she was not able to return to her regular ALF room because the staff felt she was too high a risk and wanted to move her into memory care. She really wasn’t needing memory care and my sister and I felt like we had to try harder to find a better option. Thanks to a referral from a mutual friend, I was encouraged to visit Paradise Pointe. As soon as I met with them and understood how they operated what level of services they provide and how they provide them I was so excited I couldn’t wait to tell my sister. She visited the next day and completely agreed with me. It’s hard to be brief when describing how important it is to know that your loved one is being cared for properly. It’s not just cleanliness or staffing ratios; However, this place excels in both those areas as well. The heart of the matter is that all of the employees from the Front Desk to nursing, Med Techs, Activity Directors, janitors, housekeeping, and kitchen staff they All Truly Care not about just doing their job, but to make your loved one feel important, seen, heard and loved. There may be days when my mom fusses over minor details like how someone makes the bed, but that is so irrelevant compared to the fact that whomever is making her bed does it with love and respect, even if it isn’t “her way”. I visit my mom often. I am fortunate that she is now in a facility close to where I live. And I can truly say that the staff has become like an extended family to me. The owner has done an exceptional job of building a great facility that is built more sound than any I’ve ever visited and is well prepared for any emergency. You can tell from the leadership that they choose their hires based not only on hard skills, but also choose employees with a good hearts. The owner is always willing to hear and encourages feedback. If you are searching for a place for your loved one you need to stop and have a tour to see for yourself how nice it is.

I have visited two friends in the past years but one gal I now see weekly. Between the excellent staff and overall cleanliness, I would move in or place any of my family there and I’m a nurse who has visited almost every facility between Palm Coast and Port Orange.

I come to PP once a week for a client and it’s so clean and the staff are so friendly…. I would def have my mom live here without a second thought. Marcie who works in the dining room is extra friendly and so good with the residences. Very nice place.
