If you are looking for a great place for your loved one with Dementia, I highly recommend Brookdale Ormond Beach West. They offer the "Human Element" I like to call it. They are very professional and truly care about all the Members of their Community. Its a very safe environment and the Staff is very attentive to everyone. . They have fun activities everyday. I am writing this review after moving my Mom into here almost a month ago. These are my initial thoughts. If you are looking for a great place for your loved one with Dementia, I highly recommend Brookdale Ormond Beach West. They offer the "Human Element" I like to call it. They are very professional and truly care about all the Members of their Community. Its a very safe environment and the Staff is very attentive to everyone. . They have fun activities everyday. The Community Members always have a choice if they want to participate or not. They are doing good things here. I know my Mom likes the food. I am finally sleeping better knowing that my Mom is in good hands!
This community is absolutely wonderful. AMAZING staff, fantastic programs, we couldn’t be more pleased with the care our father is getting there.
What an amazing place. Todd was so helpful and knowledgeable. We were given a tour and everything was clean, and residents were very happy. The care and dedication is unmatched.

Life circumstance has brought a member of my family and Brookdale Ormond Beach West together. Care for my father is paramount and the main reason for choosing Brookdale to partner with seeing him through the rest of his life's journey. Being greeted at the main entrance by Todd Brown (sale/marketing) is something you'll have to experience for yourself. Todd's job tile on his office door should read "real person with a huge heart". Todd (#1) Register (facility manager) is the most personable, down to earth person you'll ever meet while discussing care for a loved one. Jay McCante and her medical staff are so on top of their craft, it's hard not to feel their dedication to managing this crippling disease that we all know as dementia and/or alzheimers. My wife and I met so many health care professionals while on site, I can't mention them all........ From the kitchen and wait staff to housekeeping and entertainment, and even an on site Engineer (Mike) to keep the building humming. My Father seemed to feel the love from the moment we walked in on both days, before choosing a private room. The check-in process is very thorough, from med distribution to eating habits to likes and dislikes and so much more. Brookdale Ormond Beach West offers the kind of safe, secure, structured environment you'd expect for a vulnerable loved one. After speaking with Staff and Residents alike, we moved my father in, and look forward to his remaining years being as rewarding as they can be. As one of the members mentioned to my wife and I........ "this is your father's home and I'm the lucky one that gets to work here". Wow! Thanks to everyone we met. We look forward to seeing you all again while visiting my Dad. Thank you Darryl & Christy
I love coming here. I take care of someone here private and I love the atmosphere. The office staff so sweet very dedicated to the residence and there family very attended The staff Take care of the residence very well even The Activity, Lady she’s so sweet compassion she loves her residence very much I will definitely recommend this place to love ones 🌺
As an elder law attorney, I frequently hear from people how great their loved ones are treated at Brookdale West and other Brookdale communities. If you have a loved one that is suffering from memory loss, you can’t pick a more caring and clean community. I have visited Brookdale West many times over the years, and frequently refer people there.
Great staff who really care about the residents. It was cool to see that they strive to keep everyone engaged, not sitting around doing nothing. This is what memory care should be.
