Palmetto Landing

We want to express our gratitude to Brian Owens and his staff at Palmetto Landings for the exceptional care they provided to our mother, Eloise. Brian was not only attentive to her needs but also listened carefully to our concerns, addressed them immediately, and always followed up with helpful feedback. His consistent communication gave us great comfort in knowing that Mom was receiving the best possible care. As her health declined, the staff quickly adapted to her changing needs with compassion and professionalism. During our regular visits, we were continually reassured by the genuine care and concern shown not only to Mom but to all the residents. We are truly thankful for the kindness and dedication of Brian and his team.

Deeply concerned for the wellbeing of a family member and all other residents. Among them, Veterans are being neglected when they call for help they are often ignored for long periods of time. It’s cruel and evil how staff members hide reporting the abuse and neglect rather than do the right thing. I hope the county and the police investigate, heck I sure hope the VA opens an investigation as well since they are funding negligence. I hope they recover all deleted videos and posts my family member did as a desperate plea for help. I watched them all myself and saw for my own eyes. I also saw a female staff member take my family members device from his hand and delete while in Facebook live I also saw my family member rescue a fellow veteran because he was stuck in his wheelchair for hours and hours saying help over and over again. He looked to be over 70 years old, a marine. I’m disgusted and disappointed. Praying for all those who are silently suffering right now. God sees you Update: my family member has passed away. The staff are the most compassionate and professional people one could hope

This was based on our experience in the memory care side. Can't speak to AL side. Physical space was not good but memory care staff was terrific. For memory care, yes we would recommend this community to other families - if [name removed] is still there

This is an absolutely awesome place. From the first time we walked in when we were searching for the right place for my father until we were moving his things out after he passed away, we felt comfortable and cared for, and we knew he was being cared for. The facility itself is bright, cheerful, clean, and secure. There are lovely gardens and common areas. The staff are warm, friendly, and professional, and they know all the residents. From day one, they encouraged my dad to participate in activities, made sure he went to meals, and assisted him with whatever he needed. Even though he wasn’t happy about having to move to assisted living, in his final days, he told me that he really liked it there.
