Arden Courts Winter Springs

Great experience at Arden Courts. The staff knows their stuff, from the clinical side of dementia care to the more difficult conversations about end-of-life support. Exploring memory care options for a loved one can feel like such a heavy, overwhelming journey, but our experience touring Arden Courts brought us so much peace of mind. Instead of just a standard tour, the team truly partnered with us—taking the time to gently educate us on how dementia progresses and how their specialized care honors residents at every stage. We left feeling informed, supported, and truly confident that they understand the heart behind the science. They were so kind in addressing our questions about end-of-life and hospice care, helping to replace our worries with a sense of clarity and hope.

My experience with Arden Courts at Willow Springs, using a one to five star scale, cannot do justice to the total experience my brother and I had with my brother's, unfortunately, brief stay. Starting with the marketing (and I believe the title should actually be "welcoming") person, who provided complete information about the facility, and took me on a tour of the facilities during which I met many staff, including caretakers, nurses, facilities personnel, and activities directors, as well as a number of residents. Each staff member gave me a warm greeting and explained how they fit into the overall care of the residents. After this tour, and tours of other similar facilities, as well as my brother's good experience in an assisted living facility in Arlington, VA, I knew that this is where my brother will be moving. In the process of making this move official, I worked with the executive director as well as other office and business staff, again, all welcoming and helpful. The overall Arden Court experience must include the references to outside assistance entities. The "welcoming" person referred me to an insurance consultant who helped me through the maze of supplemental insurance. My brother had been helped with Vistas of Virginia hospice at his current facility. Already working with Vitas, choosing Vitas of Florida hospice was recommended, because working with the same company, different divisions, would help expedite the hospice approval process. Long story short, the local Vitas group was really great, however the Virginia group was not. It came down to the wire for completing the hospice moving process, and the executive director actually called Vitas corporate to get the process completed. Making the 13-hour trip from Arlington resulted in a non-traditional drop off time of 7:00 pm, well past the usual daytime staffing level. This was much appreciated and easily accommodated by the nighttime staff. One of the suggestions made was contacting Assisting Hands to have someone spend the first evening and day or so with my brother to help him settle in to a new environment, which worked out perfectly. For fourteen days, my brother was well cared for by all of the Arden Courts staff, Assisting Hands, and Vitas supporting staff. They all were in constant contact with me and provided great support when I was not able to be there in person. The end came much sooner than expected, but I know that my brother was provided loving comfort throughout his brief stay. Again, five stars doesn't do justice to describe the Arden Courts of Winter Springs facility and staff. Obviously, highly recommended.

Wonderful community and staff!

It’s never easy having a loved one in need of memory care, however, if you have the need this facility is wonderful! Since they focus solely on memory care, patients have free roam of facility that is set up as small communities. The entire facility is fenced and has beautiful grounds to stroll. The people are what set this place apart! They are very knowledgeable and caring. There is amazing programming run daily for entertainment and physical / mental fitness. The folks who run programs also plan special activities for holidays & field trips as well.
