Magnolia Acres Assisted Living Facility

I have been extremely pleased with the care of the resident at magnolia Acres. The staff treats them with compassion, kindness and patience. They have been excellent in terms of communicating and following covid protocols. The administrative staff Melissa or Marie is helpful and willing to address and/or remedy any questions or concerns from family members in a timely fashion. In summation, I would highly recommend entrusting your loved one to their care.

All I know is that [name removed] should be ashamed of herself she is running a nursing home where there’s 1 bathroom for all patients to share, my dad was drinking out of a coffee mug that was riddled with mold, she tries to make you think they have a balance of over $[removed] than what’s actually owed ( thankfully I didn’t give in to her lies and threatening me to throw my father on the street) the physician [name removed] lies about treatment and pumps these elderly patients with drugs so they will be out of it so the staff isn’t bothered. When you try and remove your loved ones they try to do everything they can so you can’t bring them home it will be months of back and forth before you’ll get them home. So please don’t let your loved ones suffer in the hands of [name removed]

My mom left, was miles away, the cops were called n thru brought her to the hospital. The staff, no one even missed her until the next day. They say they don't offer memory care yet they took my mom with Dementia, turned her into a vegetable and when I tried to take her they wouldn't let me, they used covid as an excuse. The place is nasty, the workers are nasty and mean. They should be investigated and shut down.

I was a resident there for 10 LONG MONTHS! The conditions are deplorable! Untrained,uneducated and uncaring "sraff." The owners only "concern " is money. Two bathrooms for 24 " residents!" No activities but smoking and watching TV. No food except what a church donates unless you count canned ravioli and beef stew. I wish I could unsee and unhear the things that I've witnessed in my time there. I'm dealing with a severe case of PTSD as a result! I can never get the time back but I CAN warn OTHERS! AVOID at ALL COSTS!

Come to find out it was for ALL 24 of the residents! Most food is donated by a church with the exception of canned ravioli and beef stew. No activities except smoking cigarettes and watching TV. I would NOT recommend this dump to ANYONE for ANYTHING!
