Inglenook House Assisted Living & Memory Care

My mother-in-law was cared for horrible. We first discharge her folrom rehab and transfer her into inglenook home. What a shocking surprise, the owners of that home can't handle my mother-in-law! What a surprise when Bonita went to see my mom at rehab and says right away that she can handle her and not a problem. Even when mentioned to her that she needed to be handle extra care of 2 nurses to care for her. I am ashamed of that place. I will never reccomend anyone to go there. Any other place is better.

Inglenook House has been a great option for our loved one. She is always saying how much it seems like home. Rick, Bonita and their whole team have been awesome! Thank you for caring for our family :)

My mom has been there for 6 months and doing well. Great repore with the owners. They have remodeled and everything is so clean with a beach vibe. The CNA’s are extremely attentive. This place is small and quaint and everyone gets great care. I would definitely recommend this place for your loved one!

Inglenook House is a beautiful residential assisted living facility. Rick and Benita are the owners, and they are both caring Registered Nurses. Residential assisted living facilities can be a great alternative to larger places and allow residents to age in place. If you are looking for a place for a loved one, I highly recommend that you visit Inglenook House.

I’ve witnessed firsthand the quality of care the residents living at Inglenook House experience. I’ve noticed how happy their residents are, how even those who are unable to walk are wheeled in their wheelchairs by Inglenooks new licensed caregivers assisting all residents to participate in indoor and outdoor activities such as chair yoga, cornhole, bowling, playing jeopardy/the Price is Right, baking, decorating cookies, coloring, doing arts and crafts and working on puzzles together. The love and dedication the new owners provide to our aging seniors is remarkable. Their persistence to hire top notch licensed nursing assistants to provide loving kind productive respectful assistance to their residents is what every assisted living facility should demand from their employees. I noticed that the old employees that worked there were always laying their heads down on dining room tables, sleeping in recliners, sitting down with their phones in their hands, complaining and fabricating stories to family members. All while trying to make themselves look good or complaining that they didn’t have time to do everything the new owners were expecting them to do. Amazing how they had time to play on their phones and read ebooks but not have the time to do the job they were being paid to do. So glad the new owners that are both registered nurses cleaned out the house by bringing in new qualified licensed caregivers.
