Kissimmee Health and Rehabilitation Center

The nurses and staff were all very compassionate and helpful. They made my 30-day stay a lot easier. When I first got there, I was a mess. Had an amputation on my left foot in January and was sent to another rehabilitation center in Winter Haven, which was not a good place. When I arrived at the Kissimmee Health and Rehab center, all I did was cry and every little mishap sent me into a panic. The nurses and staff where all very patient with me, they understood my panic and worked with me to make sure I was comfortable with my care. After a week there I was a different person. Much more relaxed and concentrated on my healing. One of the most important things, in my opinion, that they did right was how they listened to every complaint or ask I had and how they accommodated me as much as possible. The wound care was excellent. The therapy department was great. This place is clean. Everyone is friendly and show compassion towards all the patients, most notably to those who are there long term and can no longer take care of themselves. This center is small so they can provide a more personalized experience for patients. It isn't perfect but for me it was a thousand times better than the one in Winter Haven.
