I would absolutely recommend Providence at Hunter’s Creek to anyone looking for a caring assisted living community for a loved one.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I just called to inquire on the status of a mutual patient from AdventHealth Hospital Kissimmee and the nurse yelled and cursed on the phone only because she obviously hates her job. Providence Living at Hunter’s Creek has been one of the most disappointing healthcare facilities I have ever encountered. The overall condition of the facility is unacceptable, and the level of care and professionalism from several members of the nursing staff was extremely concerning. The nurses I interacted with were consistently rude, dismissive, and lacked compassion. Instead of treating residents and their families with patience and respect, questions and concerns were often met with indifference or an attitude that made us feel like we were an inconvenience. In a profession centered on caring for vulnerable individuals, this behavior is unacceptable. The facility itself appeared poorly maintained and far below the standard you would expect from an assisted living community. Cleanliness, upkeep, and the overall environment left much to be desired, creating an atmosphere that felt neglected rather than safe and welcoming. Families place an incredible amount of trust in facilities like this to care for their loved ones with dignity, kindness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I would strongly encourage anyone considering Providence Living at Hunter’s Creek to tour the facility carefully, ask detailed questions, and thoroughly research other options before making such an important decision. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes meaningful improvements because residents deserve compassionate care and a clean, respectful environment.
We placed our mother on the waiting list for this facility. We paid $500 to place her on the list. We were told the $500 is refundable should we change our minds. As of October 2025 we notified the ALF we would like the $500 refunded. We have called and emailed and the money has not been refunded. It is currently March 2026 and no one returns our calls or emails. At this point we are seeking legal action.
Wonderful experience with this assisted living facility. The staff is compassionate, attentive, and truly cares about the residents as individuals. From day one, communication has been clear and supportive, which gave our family real peace of mind.
