Too much time spent on phones during working hours by care staff not activity staff . On weekends very unsafe. There is only one activity person and most of the care aides seem to disappear. That is an accident waiting to happen. Way too many falls. I would suggest a time schedule to toilet those who can’t go on their own would be better than cleaning up lots of messes. Staff is not informed if a resident leaves the unit. A sign out policy is in place for residents…

Staff is not informed if a resident leaves the unit. A sign out policy is in place for residents who go out with friend and Family. However if the resident was picked to go to a place like rehab there is no sign out and return plan. The activity staff works very well together and do a wonderful job entertaining the residents. They work as a team.

The staff and facilities at Freedom Point Place are wonderful. It is comforting to know our mom is being taken care while we are not in the area. There are lots of physical and mental activities to stimulate the body and the mind! Thank you!

My parents moved into FPP-Assisted in 2018. My mother lived there until her death in 2023, and my 97-year-old father continues to reside there. So our family experience has been through the pandemic, staffing transitions, building improvements, and countless personal changes and increased needs for assistance. What has not changed is the quality of care, the respect, patience, attentiveness, kindness, and support provided by the staff. My parents (and our family visitors) have experienced the genuine warmth and concern from the welcome desk, the dining room, the nurses station, the activities coordinators, and even from administrators and maintenance staff when we've needed them. FPP-Assisted has worked to establish an uplifting culture of caring relationships. Our family is grateful and blessed to be part of the FPP-Assisted community!
Freedom Pointe has provided my 90 yr old mother with excellent care tailored to her specific needs for 3+ years. They do a phenomenal job with their events and activities bringing together residents, friends and family.
My husband Joseph (Doug) Kelliher has ban at AL for over 3 years and we are extremely happy with the care he gets. The entire staff is always there for him. I highly recommend Freedom Pointe Place.
Joan and Nelly are the most wonderful people overseeing all the residents in Memory Care. It seems like they have eyes behind their heads and are there immediately when someone needs assistance
We noticed memory issues my wife was having about 8 years ago. We did tests her Dr. wanted to find the problem. Nothing came back positive. Eventually she was diagnosed with Dementia. The Dementia progressed slowly. She had an accident visiting our Grandchildren and fractured her Patella. While she was rehabbing I hired Visiting Angels to help with her recovery. She also had Home-care for PT. I asked everyone that visited about different Memory care facilities in the area. They were familiar with and worked at times in most of the facilities. Freedom Point was one of the facilities they would recommend. I toured the different facilities with my daughter. We both agreed that Freedom Point had the most activities for the residents. After being there for over a year the activity directors are the heart and soul of the facility. Having discussions with other family members that have loved ones there feel the same way.
