My mom went here in November 2020. She was a functioning, walking, talking independent person. She was diagnosed with early stages of dementia which Mary (the director) said they could handle. Within 2 months they had her so drugged up she couldn’t function any longer. They made her go to the hospital because she was having outbursts from the medicine they prescribed for her. They also said they refused to take her back. None of this would even be happening had they not given her a drug the didn’t agree with her. We repeated asked to have her taken off the medicine only to be told it needs time to work. That medicine put her in the hospital and 2 weeks later she died. I’m so disappointed and sad to know that this all happened within the time span of 2-3 months. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. I feel like I let my mother down. She was doing 100% better before coming here and I know she would still be with us today had we not believed Faith House lies!
If I could do it all over again, I would NEVER have put my mom here. My mom lived alone and had early stages of dementia. We knew she would eventually need more care so we decided to move her into a caring home where she could get some help when needed as well as have her be around other adults. We moved her in walking, talking and fully functioning and 2 months later she died. So many things went wrong. She fell out of bed from being over medicated and broke 2 vertebrates in her back which nobody called to inform us about! They called us almost everyday to complain about her, which again we told them, was side effects of the medicine they put her on. Terrible management and terrible communication! We eventually picked her up took her to the hospital for the medicine (they put her on) where she unfortunately passed away 2 weeks later. She went from a fully functioning adult to not being able to open her eyes or move! Stay clear. I regret my decision everyday! I’m so sorry I put my. I’m through all this.

My mom is in assisted living, and she is not happy there at all. She was fine at first, but she wasn't doing well and now she has advanced so much that it is very hard for her because she is among people she can't communicate with. Faith House is a wonderful facility. It is just that mom doesn't need to be there. She needs a more social life, more activities -- she doesn't fit there anymore. She doesn't communicate with the people that live there because they are more advanced. The rooms are small, but they are OK. It is a small group home type setting, and they are very good to the people there. They treat them like family. They are good to my mom. They are always talking to me on the phone and giving me feedback, and they are very easy to get in touch with and call; they are very responsive.
My 93 year old mother is suffering from severe dementia, blindness due to macular degeneration, loss of hearing, incontinence, and is wheelchair bound. When we decided to locate an Assisted Living Facility, Debbie from www.aplaceformom.com put us in touch with Mary Durant, from Faith House, who provided assistance with forms & paperwork and the next day my mother's move into Faith House went well. It fits my mother's needs much better than the larger "Corporation Owned" ALFs.
