The only thing I didn't like is that your company charges 1 month fees. I knew [name removed] would not live 3 months so really they did not get their money's worth. If a client is only there less than 3 months, then reimburse some of that 1st payment . I did not know that facility existed , so because of you I found it. But to pay [fee removed] for that is too much when he lived less than 3 months. I suggest half of the fee is given back to emerald gardens. Those people work hard there. I did alot of [name removed] care like bathing, changing sheets, but they provided 24/ 7 care when I was…

This is an amazing ALF with staff who go above and beyond to provide quality care. They take the time to listen to their patients needs and also listen to the families. You can really feel the home like environment!

The staff and manager were so helpful, concerned, thoughtful, hard working. [name removed]was very accommodating to the changes going on with [name removed]. The location was 5 minutes from my house. It was a perfect place for [name removed]to pass away at.
Because the facility is small then they’re able to monitor the residents much more closely and provide better quality care like a family.
We were very thankful to have found Emerald Gardens for my Dad. He had late stage Parkinsons. After a few years at a larger more active ALF, his mobility had declined to where he needed more private care. Emerald is small, under 20 residents, and a permanent nursing staff. So he got more attention and care that he needed in his last year, with caretakers who got to know him and could attend to his needs as they increased. They were able to provide full care such as full bathing, feeding, etc that his previous facility was not able to provide, in a much more comfortable homey setting. As he transitioned to being under Hospice, the staff was able to coordinate his care and help keep us informed. Although not a nursing home, medical services can be cooordinated. This home is ideal for seniors with mobility or cognitive issues that need supervision and lots of assistance with daily activities but not necessarily alot of medical intervention on a regular basis other than meds.
