Aravilla Clearwater Memory Care

The decision to place a loved one in memory care is easily the most difficult choice a family can make. At Aravilla, we found a compassionate, professional, and sincere staff that treats residents like their own family. Our aunt was declining rapidly when we first met with Selene. She took us on a tour, listened to our concerns, and patiently walked us through the paperwork for the perfect suite. Since we needed a few weeks before the move, Selene took that time to truly "ready" the room—and I don’t just mean cleaning. She included sheets, towels, pillows, artwork, and a beautiful comforter. It felt as if my aunt was moving into a 5-star resort. Speaking of the "resort"—it really is one! Between the live music, a full-service beauty salon, constant parties, and field trips that make me envious, the environment is incredible. The dining rooms serve high-quality meals, the attentive staff knows everyone by name, and the on-site medical care and daily activities keep residents moving and engaged. We have been thrilled with this transition. Now, when we take our aunt off-property, she tells us she’s “ready to return to her suite at the resort!” After touring many other facilities in the Clearwater area, it’s clear that Aravilla stands leaps and bounds above the rest. It is the flagship for what memory care should be, and we feel blessed that our aunt is thriving here.

Toughest thing I've had to do, but the time had come where my Mom simply wasn't safe without full time care, After my Mom started wandering I started looking for help. I looked at several facilities in the Clearwater area in the span of just few days, and then found Aravilla. I walked into Aravilla and met Selene. It was my first tour that didn't feel like just a sales pitch. It was also the first tour that didn't hand me a laundry list of additional potential expenses, with seemly no bounds or limitations in sight. I started the paperwork for my Mom to enter Aravilla that day. On the morning my Mom was to enter Aravilla, my Mom had wandered off,, literally as I was in route to pick her up from her condo. She spent 4 days in the hospital and on departure could not walk. Selene worked with the hospital directly to get my Mom released into Aravilla's care. That was a terrible day, but I'll never forget the words that Selene told me as we lifted my Mom out of the car ,,, "Don't worry, we got this." In just three months, my Mom as bounced back beyond belief. I owe that solely to the care and attention she has gotten at Aravilla. She is engaged, complements the staff, the food, the entertainment and her room. She seems to think she is at a resort or a hotel on most of my visits. Dementia is a condition that gives my Mom good days and bad days. With many thanks to Aravilla, Selene, Mark (PT), the Nurses, room staff/aids, and everyone who helps my Mom; she is happy on the good days and safe on the bad ones. Sincerely, John T

Aravilla is a wonderful place. As soon as we walked in the vibe was welcoming. Full of natural light and cheerful staff. Our Mom is thriving in their engaging and caring environment. She loves the cooking classes, field trips, movie nights and daily music hour. We are so happy that she is so happy! Thank you Aravilla!!! Aravilla is an absolute gift. My dearest friend moved there in December, 2025 because she could no longer live alone. The staff at Aravilla went out of their way to help her acclimate to her new home, and they continue to do so. Every staff member knows the residents, and treats them with respect. My friend often tells me, “They are all so kind. They just want us to be happy.” The food is excellent, and the activities are stimulating and fun. I visited many facilities, but Aravilla is a caring home, a true gift.

My 93-year-old mother was taken care of by the sweet and loving caregivers at Aravilla. She came from an another facility that was awful. My mother was always clean and dressed appropriately. Her bedding changed 2 a week and her laundry never piled up. You could tell she was well loved and very happy in this memory care community. Staff took pride in knowing each of their residence. They knew my mother‘s likes and dislikes, and were very accommodating to that.The activities are unique and phenomenal. My mom was more of a quiet type person, but the Aravilla staff made sure she came to the activities that they learned she enjoyed. I Did not encounter one employee or caregiver that did not truly care. It is a beautiful and extremely clean community! Getting a custom care, plan, and list of medication‘s or anything that I asked for was always done on the spot and I was never made to feel like I inconvenienced them. This certainly was not my experience in the past. My mom has passed now and I will never forget the care they gave her during the last few days of her life. They not only cared about my mother they cared about my family. My only regret is that I did not know about this community sooner! I highly recommend Aravilla!
