I want to say a few things about the staff here. While every staff member has been utterly fantastic, I want to specifically mention Tina who I believe is the activities director (and if she isn’t, she should be). She seems to be responsible for all the activities for the residents but she also cares for them a great deal. She insures their comfort and care with absolute respect for each individual resident and their daily guests.
My wife and I flew to Venice Florida from Cincinnati Ohio and met last week with Angela Lacombe as my mother and stepdads health has deteriorated rapidly and they need assisted living. All of this is new to us and overwhelming but Angela made it very clear and concise. She was a joy to work with and of all the places we met with during our stay, your facility was the one we wanted to go with because of her. Unfortunately, my mom’s medical assessment proved that she cannot stand and pivot on her own so she would not be able to stay. We are moving forward with Advinia Care as they can handle…

All of this is new to us and overwhelming but Angela made it very clear and concise. She was a joy to work with and of all the places we met with during our stay, your facility was the one we wanted to go with because of her. Unfortunately, my mom’s medical assessment proved that she cannot stand and pivot on her own so she would not be able to stay. We are moving forward with Advinia Care as they can handle the required care for both of them while keeping them together. Angela followed up several times to see how we were doing and offered any support we need during this difficult transition. I owned a global printing company for 26 years and sold it back in 2014. She is the epitome of empathetic quality care and a blessing for your company.

Elison Assisted Living has gone down hill drastically in the last 6 months. Professional staff is now having to stop care giving efforts and shift to dining and kitchen duties. The place is in disrepair - e.g. the elevators have caused immense burden on residents. My last visit before this week was a few months ago. It's suprising how quickly the morale and energy has eroded. Residents are yelling at the facility director in the middle of the open dining room for not doing his job. It's a complete disgrace. Prices keep going up while service goes down. My Grandmother is often left unattended. Sometimes sitting in the dining room for hours. The staff is hard working and genuinely care for their residents. This all appears corporate driven - increase fees and reduce costs. It's just a matter of time before something catastrophic happens.
