I am so grateful for the friendship and support I received at East Bay Rehabilitation Center. The facility is always clean and the rooms are comfortable. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel cared for. Top 3 things I loved: 1) Friendly and compassionate staff 2) Clean and comfortable environment 3) Helpful therapy options like physical therapy and occupational therapy.
My mother-in-law lived here for the last two and a half years. Every time we visited, the place was clean and felt safe. The staff is extremely caring and conscientious. We feel fortunate to have found East Bay, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Our family has used this facility twice now, and I must say if I could give 10 stars I would. They answered countless questions, and gave great advice and care to 2 of my closest family members. Thank you a million times to the staff, I was very grateful 🩷
Over promised, under delivered. There were several moments where our mother’s care was over looked. She entered rehab with one surface level sore, told us they were adjusting her hourly to adjust. They weren’t, sore became tunneling and more followed. She Needed help getting into bed, waited 2+ hours. Patient had note that food needed to be pre cut, never was one orderly even yelled at my mother for asking. All around not able to reach full level of care they said could be reached.
The facility is very well run , clean & as a rehabilitation center offers many services & activities. I was called by survey company regarding this facility and stated that separate surveys should be done for this facility as I said above the rehab portion separate from a nursing home offers & has great services available. Unfortunately my father was sent there not being a rehab candidate and nearing the end of his life but was our only real option. His mental status deteriorated due to an underlying condition and this facility is not equipped with a separate area / specific care for patients with dementia and hospice care. So it is not really fair for me to rate as a “rehab”. They have folks who try their best with these type of patients like my father but most are more suited to care for my independent individuals.
They should get 0 stars!!! They picked the wrong mama to wrong mistreat and horribly mismanage They lost her 50 year old prayer book too. Better find it!!! Reporting this facility. Update: Renee never gets back to you I've left messages I've only talked to one woman and it was one phone call and never heard from this person again My father has had a lot of problems where he is residing. just still temporarily because I feel like I'm close to getting him back home to Largo Florida Prayers Updating that " RENEE" ISNT REAL she NEVER returns any calls or messages. Watch your loved ones people I don't care if you're private paying or Medicare is paying or whatever rehab skilled or nursing home you're putting your loved one in permanent or temporary every single one of them in this state is awful . Every single one mark my words if you're not on it and with your loved one calling every day at least to check if you can't go there and making sure these people the Personnel from East Bay rehab to Palm Gardens of Largo to, in Gainesville ; Magnolia Ridge nursing home. They all plot and scheme to get as much money as possible and the minute the patient and or family members start pushing back on doctor and staff they do everything they can to scrambling get the patient out any excuse they can conjure up. THESE PEOPLE HAVE TRAUMATIZED MY PARENTS. RENEE ONLY GETS BACK TO SOMEBODY IF YOU LEAVE 5 STARS AND FAKE GOOD REVIEW. IF Renee is even a real person. If she is she ONLY gets back to people who leave fake positive reviews. Not every elderly person is the same in their illnesses and rehabbing timelines. This is how great East Bay rehab off of East Bay driving Clearwater florida. My mom wasn't any better coming out of there in fact she came home with a UTI because they bombarded my mom with a group of personnel that was unnecessary because my mom has mental health issues and doesn't understand because she has some type of undiagnosed dementia and a very bad anxiety disorder. They will call you and all of a sudden you'll have a doctor or a nurse and they're Psych Personnel on the phone with you surrounding my poor mother severely overwhelming her a detriment to her healing and mentally. It's terribly disrespectful and uncalled for, there should be heart-to-heart in person meetings at these places that make thousands and thousands and thousands of our loved ones money and their precious time that they have left in life with the people who love them dearly. I have reported East Bay rehab and Palm garden of Largo to DCF and AHCA. I have reported twice Magnolia Ridge nursing to AHCA and DCF twice. They must have somebody paid off somebody Magnolia Ridge Personnel staff management. They all know who to talk to, to make their report shiny when people file them with AHCA and DCF. I'm doing filing again and I'm making sure I have different people than the names I reported to the very last time. Im filing suit as well. THESE PLACES TRAUMATIZED MY PARENTS AND MY FATHER IS STILL BEING ABUSED AND TRAUMATIZED BY MAGNOLIA RIDGE NURSING HOMES STAFF! EVEN THE NURSE IS WICKED. HE IS BEING HELP AGAINST HIS WILL AND WISHES. IM FILING SUUT TO GET HIM IN FRONT OF JUDGE. DPOA AND MAGNOLIA RIDGE GAINESVILLE FL IS HOLDING HIM AGAINST HIS WILL STILL. CONTESTING DPOA!!!!!! BEWARE OF EAST BAY REHAD PALM GARDENS OF LARGO AND MAGNOLIA RIDGE NURSING HOME IN GAINESVILLE FL READ MY REVIEWS AND MY FATHERS STORY.
East Bay has the kindest staff who truly care for their residents and love their veterans too! The dedication that they have to their residents is unparalleled and the beauty of the community and courtyard makes anyone feel right at home. Their service is top notch and they even host a daily welcome party for the families and new residents moving in.
