Assisted Living and Memory Care in Pensacola, with spaces to feel at home and support for your next chapter.
Ask about this communityCoral Bay at Pensacola is a 210-bed skilled nursing facility in Pensacola, Florida. Its care options include skilled nursing, long-term care, short-term rehabilitation and post-acute care. A subacute rehabilitation unit serves people transitioning from acute care, including those moving to the facility after a hospital stay. The facility also lists wound care, palliative care and hospice care. Its services thus include recovery support after acute treatment as well as continuing nursing care.
Short stays are available for respite or transitional care. The facility describes respite as a temporary break for family caregivers who need time to recharge; transitional stays are another listed use. A secured memory care unit serves people with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other memory impairments. Long-term care is an option for residents needing ongoing support. Coral Bay says rehabilitation is intended to help people return to their lives after treatment, while its long-term care program emphasizes independence and personal attention. The facility also describes a full calendar of daily activities.
Private rooms are among the listed room options, and an emergency call system is listed as a room amenity. The community is wheelchair accessible. Practical services include 24-hour staff, medication management, an on-site registered nurse and housekeeping. The available room information does not specify further configurations or apartment-style layouts. Coral Bay describes its care team as including regional physicians and specialists who work collaboratively, and says its approach uses research-based practices and current technology.
Dining is offered in a restaurant-style dining room. Listed dietary accommodations include gluten-free, low- or no-sodium, no-sugar and vegan options. Gathering and activity spaces and a chapel or religious services are also listed. Social activities named by the facility include happy hour, wine tasting, dances and karaoke, alongside the broader schedule of daily activities and events.
The facility identifies itself as JCAHO accredited and says it accepts Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance plans. Nearby medical centers it names include Sacred Heart Hospital, Gulf Breeze Hospital, West Florida Hospital and Baptist Pensacola Hospital. Coral Bay notes that its proximity to these hospitals supports transitions from hospital care to post-acute rehabilitation. That service is offered alongside its longer-term nursing care, not as a separate residential apartment option.
Coral Bay describes the Gulf as about a 10-minute drive away and the Alabama state line as a short drive. Its stated service area includes Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties in Florida, as well as Baldwin and Mobile counties in Alabama. The facility says it serves people from these areas, including as far away as Alabama, giving its nursing and rehabilitation services a regional reach beyond Pensacola.

There are not enough words to say how great this place is. My friend is very happy here and she has been in a lot. The staff makes a happy atmosphere and a special shout out for Norma at the front desk! Great personality and always a smile and very helpful!
My dad has been here almost two weeks now and I must say the staff, nurses, techs, therapists ect on the 4 th floor are exceptional!!! This is an older home but the care is superb!!! My dad is a full time dementia patient which requires a lot of care and they take very good care of him. They make sure to call me if any problems arise and always answer my questions. Would highly recommend just for the care.
Great Breakfast Selections during my 5 day stay at Coral Bay AND - the Nurses were WONDERFUL on ALL Shifts - including overnight AND Quick Response with the Nurses Call Bell. This 5 Day Respite stay could be the Precursor to my eventual Long Term Residency at this Well-Managed Facility near Downtown Pensacola Florida !!
Amber has always been so knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to Admissions. I value our partnership very much and look forward to grow our partnership even more!
I am a deaf driver for UberEats and I went to this location yesterday to pick up my customer's order. An Asian woman named Norma Kaibigan at the front desk had a horrible attitude when I told her that a customer wanted me to leave his order out front per his request and she said I am not allowed to be on the property because it's a private property and cannot bring any orders at the front desk. I showed her my phone what my customer wanted and she said "I don't even know this person!" and she started to have an argument with me and she finally gave up and let me leave my customer's order out front.
I never got a chance to commend the staff for the excellent care they provided to my father before his eventual passing on May 05, 1992. I realize the name of the facility changed from what it was, but I'm sure the staff are still doing an incredible job. It was a turbulent time for us. Receiving his diagnosis and we tried to take care of him ourselves, but he proved to be too much of a handful. Considering he was quite the handful at the time; the staff didn't let his attitude discourage them. I'm his youngest son and I personally appreciate everything the staff did for him to make his last few days comfortable. Thank you.
Amazing staff
They have shown support and care at a time my sister needs it, and have continued after she came home. My sister has nothing but good of this experience.
