This is the worst nursing home DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY THERE. THEY BASICALLY KILLED MY MOTHER DEBRA A KNEPPER. They left her in soiled diapers for hours she had a bed sore they got feces in the bed sore she DIED FROM BEING SEPSIS !!! They do not give patients call bells they make them use hand held dinner bells they Do NOT HOOK UP OXYGEN CORRECTLY MOM HAD WATER FROM HER OXYGEN POURING INTO HER LUNGS The Home health aids argue in the hall way with each other threatening to beat each other up Moms clothes were ripped and some missing from her belongings They DO NOT SHOWER OR WASH THERE HAIR. ITS A TERRIBLE AWFUL PLACE THAT SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN THE PLACE IS UNHUMANE I WAS FORCED TO PUT MY MOM THERE BECAUSE HOSPITAL MADE ME SHE IS NOW GONE SHE DIED APRIL 7TH 2026 PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONE THERE IT SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!! The place is NOT CLEAN COCKROACHES AND FOOD ON FLOOR IN ROOMS. NO CALL BELLS I HAD TO ASK FOR A BELL THEY GAVE MY MOM A DAM DINNER BELL TO RING FOR EMERGENCY SO SHE SAT IN SOILED DIAPER RANG A DAM DINNER BELL FOR HELP NO ONE RESPONDED EVER 4 HOURS THEY LEFT HER IN SOILED DIAPERS WIPED HER FECES IN AN OPEN BED WOUND WHICH CAUSED SEPSIS MY MOM WOULD CALL THE MAIN DESK TO LET THEM KNOW SHE NEEDED HER DIAPER CHANGED FROM HER OWN CELL PHONE THE NURSES WOULD THREATEN MY MOM WHEN SHE WOULD CALL THE FRONT DESK I HAVE ALL THE VIDEO THAT PLACE IS A DISGRACE THEY ARE A TERRIBLE FACILITY PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY THERE MY MOTHER IS DEAD NOW BECAUSE OF THIS PLACE

Don’t be fooled by these pics. They’re old. This place was disgusting. My mother had to go to rehab and the list I was given said this place was highly rated. I cannot say this any clearer—DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PLACE. SOME of the nurses were ok most were not friendly at all. For God’s sake do NOT even THINK about the memory care wing. Doors are open and all residents wander in and out. Facilities are old, outdated, and honestly it should be shut down. It’s that bad. I don’t want to say anything bad about the director or social workers there. They’re very understanding. They outsource the physical therapy and the occupational therapy. They were very nice. For anyone that gives a damn—Bridgeview Center should be closed and demolished. If you have no choice but to have a loved one admitted there—choose to do your own laundry and bring cleaning supplies. It’s not very clean.

The food is horrible... Many have lost weight due to the menu.My friend looked like she had lost 50lb's or more Sometimes the staff doesn't even check to see if you've even gotten a meal.By the time they get one to the room, its old and cold. I visited in the afternoon and the patient was unwashed for days and smelled of urine. When asked for help with the patient to be undressed, to poop ,and go on the toilet...I contacted a nurse assistant, in the hallway, who said shed be there in a moment and never came.Needless to say I had to undress this person and re dress this person. During visits I have purchased clothing and had written in permanent marker the name of the patient on the collars and belt line...three complete sets of pajamas and a full length night gown....came back and visited three days later and the clothes are gone. This last visit she had on a dirty men's T shirt , men's pants and two un matching socks. I brought snacks , candy and drinks, that she doesn't get to eat... because these items happen to disappear. I am appalled. To me it was like a human animal shelter.The patient has dementia , but is not so far gone that she doesn't understand the difference between kindness and cruelty. During these visits all she did was complain about how mean the staff was. I did not witness meanness ,but I did witness callousness , and care less attitudes while there.Now I understand,, and completely realize that this job can be very trying, and can be very difficult dealing with people who have diminished mental ability. Also, not everyone is at fault here , but I couldn't help feeling like these people were thrown away...Maintenance of the facility is not a top priority .Closet doors off and leaning into the closet, the toilet running all day and night, wasting water for who knows how long.Even decorations to cheer up a dreary environment were taken down.Only when I mentioned that she hasn't had a shower in three days and smells bad ,like urine and poop. The staff member says... Im a Nurse ... I dont do that... thats not my job ... its a nurse assistants job. And so she sits in her waste, for a half hour more ,before someone comes to give her a change and clean up.It was hard to witness all this to someone you love being confined to a lock down facility unit until death. I am not trying to bash Bridgeview..I am simply a visitor observer. I waited for two days to speak with the administrator ,left messages, was told shed return my call ...That never happened. I wish I could have had the conversation with her first, , its not like I didnt give her the opportunity to resolve some matters first. But its now the end of the day and no call .
