But they assured me they would keep a good eye on the residents. Also, people aren't allowed to go out by themselves. Everybody seemed friendly. The residents appeared to be happy. They all were enjoying themselves. They were enjoying their lunch. And when I came back the second time, they were playing bingo, and everybody was having fun. The staff was very friendly. I like Bethesda on Turkey Creek. However, there's a big hill, and I could see my sister trying to go down that hill in her wheelchair. But they assured me they would keep a good eye on the residents. Also, people aren't allowed to go out by themselves. Everybody seemed friendly. The residents appeared to be happy. They all were enjoying themselves. They were enjoying their lunch. And when I came back the second time, they were playing bingo, and everybody was having fun. The staff was very friendly. The facility appeared very good. It was all clean. I saw two separate rooms, and both of them were good. However, my sister fell a lot, and since the room had a kitchen, I could see her trying to stand up, to get the cupboards, etc., and falling. So even though it is an extremely nice room, I don't think it's right for my sister. Their dining area was very nice. It was spread apart so the people in wheelchairs had easy access to get through and get around tables and stuff. The food looked good, too. Overall, the friendliness of the staff is what I like best about this community.
Absolutely first class in everything they all do! All the staff, nurses, residents, administrators, Dr's are simply excellent!! I rate this assisted living facility as the best in Florida!! Do yourself a BIG favor and take a tour... you will be very pleased! Howard A. Stafford
Overall, I like the care that they give my dad however, lately I noticed they have a high turnover of staff everybody seems to be friendly enough though. I liked that they were smaller than most places

The last months of my mother's life was horrible at Bethesda . The food was horrible, my mother's room was like a refrigerator. She was always so cold. Security was bad, men would wander into her room . She was scared.If you want to talk to the executive director, forget it. She does not answer her phone and won't call back. They still owe me several thousand dollars since April 14. Now September. Don't put your loved one there.
I went to Bethesda on Turkey Creek. They planned on doing a lot of renovations at the time. The price was very good. It's a little bit out of our budget, but ultimately, it was still reasonable. The size of the room was reasonable. It was very nice. Overall, the staff was nice. They have a library, but I don't know about an exercise room.
My loved one was previously a resident at Bethesda on Turkey Creek and the experience was horrible. This facility is not a good place, we ended up having to move my loved one to a different facility. I would not recommend Bethesda on Turkey Creek to others.
My Mom spend several years living here. The staff and patients all became family to me. They have several options of housing depending on your needs. I highly recommend.
The people at Bethesda on Turkey Creek were fabulous, but the place is old and it needs a major injection of cash. They need to improve the overall aesthetic and the places in which you would live. I wouldn't have had my friend go there and it wasn't even super affordable either, but the staff is just loving and they were great and you could tell they cared about their people. They were enjoying it but just expect a little higher for what you'd be paying. They had a lot of activities, but not much in a way. There's not a pool. So, there's not a whole lot.
