Belmont Village Senior Living Coral Gables

I just called and requested a visit to this institution for my mother who is in a very good ALF but needs a memory care, and Ana, an employee says my mother needs to know English and be able to communicate in English due to the AHCA accreditations which to me is odd and as an attorney living in Miami makes no sense and a little discriminatory! But she assures it. I’ll move on the next better memory care but just wanted to make a note of this nonsense.

Belmont Village promotes itself as a safe place for seniors. What I witnessed says otherwise. A company vehicle driven by an employee was aggressively honking and yelling at an elderly woman using a walker while she was legally crossing in a marked crosswalk directly next to the facility in Coral Gables. When confronted, the employee was hostile and continued his behavior. It is deeply troubling that someone representing a senior living community would treat an elderly pedestrian this way while driving a company vehicle. This raises serious concerns about judgment, professionalism, and safety.
