Aviata at Kissimmee Gardens

After a very difficult surgery and a cancer treatment that presented complications, my mom stayed at Aviata at Kissimmee Gardens Villas for more than 90 days. During that entire time, we received excellent treatment and daily care filled with dedication, respect, and humanity. The entire staff was very attentive and committed to her well-being. The facilities were always clean, organized, free of unpleasant odors, and in very good condition, which was very important to our family and gave us great peace of mind. We would especially like to thank Mrs. Raquel De León, one of the managers, who maintained direct communication with me, even on weekends. She was always willing to help us and provide support with everything we needed during my mom’s stay. We know that choosing a place for the care of our parents is not an easy decision. However, at Aviata, they took the time to understand my mom’s special situation and supported her with patience and compassion throughout her recovery process. My mom was discharged from there yesterday, and as a family, all we can say is: Thank you. Thank you for the care, attention, and commitment you show to your patients. This place is great. When I first got here they made me feel welcome. After my husband passed away I wasn't handling my declining health at my age and never thought I would end up in a SNF. They helped me with everything I needed. The occupational and physical therapists are wonderful. They make sure I get all the medical help I need. The CNAs, RNs and Aids are pleasant and helpful. Spiritual help is here as well. The patient activities crew is awesome. They provide fun games, music and singing, arts and crafts. The facility is very clean and well kept. My family and friends that visit say the same. They tell me I look great and have a better attitude about my medical condition. All of the staff is wonderful and help in any way they can.

I've been a patient here since early in 2023, due to a stroke and other medical complications I've been mostly bedridden ever since! At the time we were under Keystone Management and while the care given then was good (I would have rated it 3 1/2-stars then), there has been an even greater marked improvement since Aviata took over the administration of this facility! As such I proudly give this review 5-Stars! From the Administration Staff right down to the nurses, CNA's as well as the maintenance, and reception staff is friendly and projects a sense of professionalism and at the same time make me feel welcome! If that wasn't enough my sister is disabled herself and was homebound cared for by home nursing, as such it didn't look like I was ever going to see her again, though we stayed in touch by phone constantly. One day my worse fear happened, and she collapsed on the floor unconscious with no one to help her. Luckily, she regained consciousness and was able to call her nurse who called 911. When she was going to be sent to a rehab, the administration staff here became aware of the situation they coordinated with the hospital to have her sent here! The day we were reunited after 2 years accompanied by much of the staff, my sister and I was extremely happy! Then when it was determined by sister would have to go long term and they surprised us again by moving her into the same room as me! That was more then either of us could expect and we are forever grateful to all the staff and Aviata that made this happen!
