Safety Harbor, FL
Skilled Nursing in Safety Harbor, with spaces to feel at home and support for your next chapter.
Ask about this communityAspire at the Harbor is in Safety Harbor, Florida, and its listed care is centered on skilled nursing. The facility reports 24-hour skilled nursing, comprehensive post-acute care and long-term care. A public nursing-home profile lists 120 certified beds, a measure of certified capacity rather than current occupancy. The service categories cover both post-acute needs and care over a longer period, though the available information does not describe typical stays or how residents move between these types of care.
Physical, occupational and speech therapies are included among the reported services, alongside comprehensive post-acute care. The listing identifies these three therapy disciplines but does not specify schedules, treatment intensity or which services may be appropriate for a particular person. Discharge planning is also listed. This points to transition planning as part of the facility’s stated services, but no details are provided about planning procedures, destinations or timing.
For longer-term care, the facility names Alzheimer’s and dementia care, as well as care for medically complex patients. These are separate service categories in the published information, indicating that the stated scope includes both cognitive care needs and complex medical needs. The available description does not detail specialized programs, unit arrangements or equipment, so those aspects of daily care cannot be characterized from the service list.
The combination of nursing, post-acute care, therapies and discharge planning places clinical services at the center of the profile. The source identifies 24-hour coverage specifically for skilled nursing; it does not give staffing ratios or say that every other service operates around the clock. Nor does it describe room layouts, meals, activities or other residential routines. The information therefore supports a picture of the facility’s care categories, but not a detailed account of everyday schedules or living arrangements.
The surrounding Safety Harbor area includes several nearby places that may be useful to residents and visiting family members. Walgreens is listed about 1.7 miles away, and North Pinellas Surgery Center about 4.1 miles away. These are nearby locations, not services described as operated by or affiliated with the facility. The listing also places Cooper Bayou Park about 2.2 miles away and Kapok Park about 2.4 miles away.
Canal Park is listed about 3.4 miles from the location, and Cracker Barrel about 3.5 miles away. These distances offer a general sense of the neighborhood’s nearby outdoor and dining options; the available information does not indicate that the facility provides transportation to them. The published profile offers no further specifics about on-site amenities or daily activities, so the documented details are principally the care services, certified capacity and nearby community destinations.

Rooms are outdated and not very clean and have extremly bad odors with not so clean bathrooms which are shared with 3 other residents in the joining rooms next store , Staff doesn't really interact at all or say hello, and always short on staff when you need something for my loved one, Only has Bingo once in a while and not much else but religous groups and not much to look forward too, this community doesn't offer much of anything , would not recommend this Facility to anyone. front of building and front lobby is nice but walk through the double doors and not the same environment .

Consulate Health Care of Safety Harbor was good. The staff was friendly. The food was bland, but it's OK. My friend's room was very clean. They have an exercise area.
The facility is older and in need of some updating. Some equipment is in need of repair and is not very safe.Laundry is lost. All that said, the staff is superb and go out of their way to right wrongs, and when needed more then pills a hug is always there.Food is fair and the kitchen will change something if you can't eat what was provided. Handwashing needs a lot of improvement.
