I wanted a small facility, close to where I live and I wanted her to have her own room, where we could fill the walls with the pictures from her life and her big TV. She's a private person and likes to spend time alone, so it works out. There are memory care residents here and sometimes there are "boundary issues" of course, so I keep her door locked. However it's easily opened by staff. Speaking of, the staff is very solid and makes an effort to keep my mother's life calm…

My mom is here, bedridden, catheter.. Not memory care, just can't move. She's at an end stage of her life and on Hospice. I wanted a small facility, close to where I live and I wanted her to have her own room, where we could fill the walls with the pictures from her life and her big TV. She's a private person and likes to spend time alone, so it works out. There are memory care residents here and sometimes there are "boundary issues" of course, so I keep her door locked. However it's easily opened by staff. Speaking of, the staff is very solid and makes an effort to keep my mother's life calm and quiet. She has a bird feeder out her window, which is always visited by cardinals and other birdies and she watches the comings and goings in front of the facility. It's not perfect, of course. Nothing is, at this stage of life, but I truly feel like I made the right choice in Evergreen Manor. I am there frequently. That's what ya do, right? Keep an eye on things and hope for the best.

The owner has been easy to talk to and always available. The people that work there have been caring and attentive. My mother-in-law is always clean, she is dressed, her hair is fixed. her room is immaculate and her laundry is done daily. My mother-in-law was moved from a very expensive facility to Evergreen Manor. She is at end stage and was not getting the care she needed. This facility has been amazing. The owner has been easy to talk to and always available. The people that work there have been caring and attentive. My mother-in-law is always clean, she is dressed, her hair is fixed. her room is immaculate and her laundry is done daily. She is at end stage so she needs a great deal of care and she is receiving it here. Someone visits her from the family every other day so we are very aware of what is going on. We are so grateful to Kathryn and her wonderful staff for everything they have done for mom and for our family.
My mother stayed at Evergreen Manor. The atmosphere was friendly and warm. The owners were very attentive and they treated the residents as family.They also took the residents for walks outside the facility. Each resident had their own separate rooms. The food was really delicious and tasty.
