Allegro Senior Living – South Tampa Hyde Park, FL

I’ve had two different experiences with Allegro. My mother lived there for six years. Initially, she was fully independent, but as her health declined, we were able to have her stay with assistance. The staff was always incredibly caring and supportive, and they were very helpful in communicating any changes in her health. After my mother passed away, leaving Allegro left a big void in my life. A few years later, I found myself back at Allegro. This time, I was a member of an organization that Allegro kindly provided us with a room to meet. Coming to our meetings feels like coming home. The staff has been very accommodating, and I always find a friendly and caring environment. Thank you for both experiences.

I have lived in this great and vibrant community for almost 5 years now. We have a lot to do and great spaces to do it in. From exercise classes with certified instructors to swimming and card games, trivia, movies, outings, happy hour and huge events. I honestly never thought I could live in a communal space with others as a private person. I have learned that I can be private person and attend events, programs and classes without compromising who I am.

After nearly a decade of my mother calling Allegro Senior Living in Hyde Park home, I can say without hesitation that this is one of the finest senior living communities you will find anywhere. What sets Allegro apart starts at the top. The leadership genuinely cares — not in a corporate, check-the-box way, but in a way you feel the moment you walk through the door. That culture flows all the way down to every single staff member. My mother didn't just feel looked after. She felt loved. For a family entrusting a community with someone they cherish, that is everything. The communication was exceptional — always a 10 out of 10. We were never left wondering. The décor is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, and the Hyde Park location is simply unbeatable. The amenities are remarkable. A stunning sky lounge. A full calendar of activities that keep residents engaged and connected. An on-site hair and nail salon. Physicians who come directly to the residents. A dedicated driver for appointments. The food was excellent — we'd give it a solid 8 out of 10. The community itself is a 10. The warmth, the friendships, the sense of belonging my mother felt there was something we could not have imagined finding so completely.
