Ask about this communityWindsor Woods Convalescent Center in Hudson, Florida, offers post-acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and short- and long-term care. The facility’s official website uses the name Windsor Woods Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. It describes the center as serving Pasco County, located near local hospitals, and having served the county for more than 25 years. Its listed services include both care following a hospital stay and ongoing nursing support.
The center describes post-acute care as support for people transitioning from hospital to home. Staff work with a physician on the transition and on services intended to help each person work toward their discharge goals. This hospital-to-home support is listed alongside skilled nursing and rehabilitation, as well as short-term care. The description identifies the physician’s involvement in the transition process but does not specify a recovery schedule or particular clinical program.
Rehabilitation services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy. The facility also lists registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants among its nursing and direct-care staff. These disciplines and staff roles are part of the center’s published description of its rehabilitation and skilled-care services. The service list covers therapy as well as nursing care, without detailing specific treatment plans for individual conditions.
For people needing longer-term support, the center lists general nursing and restorative services. Its website describes these services for residents who can no longer live on their own. An interdisciplinary team collaborates with residents, patients, families, and staff to develop individual care plans. The stated planning process brings those groups together to coordinate services around each person’s care needs, rather than describing a single standard plan for everyone.
Other listed services include social services and nutritional services, as well as housekeeping and laundry. Dietary staff accommodate special dietary needs in meals served daily to residents and patients. The facility’s information therefore includes meal service as part of its daily offerings, with dietary staff responsible for addressing those stated needs. Housekeeping and laundry are listed alongside these services, rather than as rehabilitation or nursing treatments.
Daily activities are provided by the activities department with the stated aim of encouraging socialization. The facility describes the activities as meaningful and offered each day. Maintenance and housekeeping departments are responsible for upkeep of the center, and the website says they work throughout the year. Together, these details describe practical parts of daily life—meals, activities, laundry, and upkeep—in addition to the nursing, therapy, and care-planning services listed by the facility.

They seem not to care about the people who are there, they don't bath them or pay attention to their needs. Take the laundry and don't bring it back to the ones they took it from. Light on and don't show up for quite some time 😕. Rehab is too many in there at the same time and don't spend time with each person like they should.
My husband was admitted into Windsor Woods Feb 6, 2026 due to a stroke affecting his motorskills on his left side, which is his dominant. All the therapists have been aggressive and caring to meet my husband and my goal to get him home by May 1st. The therapist team works well together along with the director. They are skilled and knowledgeable. The medical staff which include nurses, doctors, and CNAs have been thorough regarding his health and well being. Everyone at Windsor Woods including administrative are kind and willing to assist and help in so many ways. I would not hesitate to…

My aunt was a patient recovering from a fractured femur. The most important aspect of her care was physical therapy. Kate, head of the PT department, made sure she received the continuous therapy needed to get her back on her feet and able to return home. It was a long haul and required time and patience. Kate made sure both were provided. We thank her and her staff for the dedication to achieve her goal. Thank you.
Great place for mom. Highly recommend
14 months ago my husband came to Windsor Woods in really bad shape. He couldn’t get out of bed on his own or even turn side to side or walk a few steps. But the great Rehab and Therapy staff didn’t give up on him. The motivation they gave him was unbelievable. He now walks with a walker. The Nursing staff and the aids were wonderful. They made sure he got his two cups of coffee each morning just the way he liked it. The activity Director did a fantastic job with the residents. I myself made many friends through the year. I plan on visiting them time to time. Now I have to say the front staff went over and beyond their expectations. I would highly recommend Windsor Woods. I just want to say thank you for the care you gave my husband!
